Our support reps have been actively engaged, scheduling regular meetings, creating usage reports, and providing engagement resources.Our training team is able to refer leaders to LIL to utilize resources that support their specific developmental needs within their teams - both soft and hard skills. We average about 44% engagement rate, which we’ve been told is typical for our organization size. Pros LinkedIn Learning offers something for everyone in our organization. That was ultimately why we chose it over other platforms. We also love the short learning clips which make it extremely user-friendly! Cons While the search features are great, sometimes there are still a lot of options to wade through to find exactly what you need. Employees also have clear preferences for more engaging instructors. Many instructors focus on philosophical presentations rather than practical applications. Practical engagement is a clear win for our employees. In Linkedin Learning, videos are much shorter and easy to digest at any time of the day. Cons LinkedIn Learning has a smaller course library compared to other platforms and is really expensive if you do not use LinkedIn premium already. LinkedIn Learning Review" February 11, 2023 4.0 LinkedIn Learning is a very great learning institute that offers certification that I can use as part of my skill qualifications and it can be linked back to my LinkedIn profile to increase my employment opportunities. Whether online or offline, the content presented can be watched to the quality of my liking. For example, playing a course's videos as a miniplayer while doing other work. Pros LinkedIn Learning uses the data gathered from my LinkedIn profile to recommend great courses for me to do. For example, since I listed Chemistry as a subject I completed at the CSEC level, LinkedIn Learning's home page recommended 20 courses for me to try out under the header "Top picks for me". Alongisde this, I was able to watch a preview of a course's content before purchasing it. This ensured that my money was paid for a good course. Cons In my personal opinion, the graphical layout of LinkedIn Learning would've been better if the profile icon were to the right of the search icon on the "Home", "Topics" or "My Learning" pages. Instead, I have to click on my profile icon after heading to the "My Learning" page. Pros I like that I can access LinkedIn Learning with my university email without any need to pay a subscription. I like the instructors and the quality of the videos. Also, there are subtitles in different languages for the majority of courses offered on LinkedIn Learning. Cons There are no quizzes or exams to test my knowledge after finishing a lesson. Also, there is no discussion forum where I can exchange knowledge and ask questions there. I can't skip some lessons if I want which is a time-wasting in case I already know this info.
