Cloud Build is a continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) platform. Developers use it to import source code from cloud storage apps and various other code repositories. It comes with pre-installed container building images, developer tools, and multiple languages. DevOps teams can execute hundreds of builds per pool and deploy apps across multiple environments, including VMs and Firebase. It can also deploy Git repositories and import code from Google Cloud. The CI/CD platform can create triggers and tags to automate deployment to Cloud Run. Users can also encode cryptographic keys to restrict access and keep detailed logs to help identify root causes for code deployment failures. The program is capable of encrypting the environment, enabling the use of tokens from external services. It follows DevOps best practices for automating code writing and app production.
