The furnace was used to process advanced materials at high temperatures, and it was important to maintain a constant temperature throughout the process. I and my team used LabVIEW to develop a temperature control application that used a PID control loop to adjust the oven temperature in real time. The application was developed to interact with an external temperature controller, which was connected to LabVIEW via a serial interface.
