It makes you visualize the process and automate the sequence. Being an instructor, it makes me easy to explain to the students better learn and clarify the concepts by visualizing things on the tool. The ability to automate the test equipment and the measurements makes tasks easier to manage and less prone to errors Cons The Education version is not available. The GUI is not modern and user friendly. Sometimes it is difficult to find relevant stuff for your tasks. The help section is not much intuitive and sometimes confusing. May 22, 2022 4.0 I love how simple and easy to use LabVIEW is while being capable of some make really complex systems. But the installation/uninstallation process is really bad. Pros It uses a graphical base programming language which is far easier that regular programming methods. You can get the hang of it within hours yet you can make really powerful projects. LabVIEW can also be connected with hardware like sensors and get real-time readings or generate signals to actuators. Cons Not the easiest installation process, NI manager can take some getting used to. There are multiple versions you can download so it can get kind of confusing. If you end up download a wrong version, the uninstallation process is a hassle. If not done correctly, you might have to install a new windows version just for the old files to be deleted or you might run into some issues when installing again.
