Simplicity at its best" January 19, 2023 5.0 I've deployed and configured Nomad to deploy all of the company's services on-premises, for all environments (4 Nomad clusters). For cloud environments, I don't see the benefit from using it. Pros Nomad is so simple and robust at the same time, both for deploying services and for setting it up. And it uses HCL, the language used in Terraform, Consul, Vagrant and in all the Hasshicorp stack.Nomad also lets you deploy not only containerized applications, that's a big plus.Hashicorp ecosystem integration is great. Cons Lack of embedded ingress management (like Kubernetes has); you need a Gateway to connect to consul.
