無料かつ操作画面がシンプルのため、導入しやすい。動作自体が軽いため、基本どんなスペックのパソコンでも利用可能だと考える。ただし、もう2年以上更新されていないため、機能の改善が期待できないでしょう。

Pros

PDFの結合、分割に役に立つ。また、画像、officeファイルをPDFへ変換できるため、PDF作成時にかなり便利。さらにPDFのアクセス権管理、ヘッダーとフッターの文字追加などの便利機能があるため、色んな場面で活躍できる。

Cons

2年以上更新されていないため、多分もサポートされていない。そもそも無料なので、仕方がないと思う。ＰＤＦページを回転する機能があるが使いにくい。指定ページを回転したい場合、一回ＰＤＦを分割し、個別で回転してから再結合する必要がある。可能であれば、指定ページのみを回転する機能を追加してほしい。また挿入したファイルは文字情報しかないため、可能であればサムネイル表示する機能を追加してほしい。

Adobe AcrobatでもPDFの結合、分割できるが、有料なのでかなりコストがかかる。UnityPDFは会社で使用禁止されているため、代替品としてpdf\_asを利用することになった。
