Pros inSSIDer is easy to use and deploy in the field, very scalable and allows you to dial into fine detail of WIFI signals and helps in the tuning of settings within a WAP GUI, and being able to also record in real time (Packet Data) to use as reference for trouble shooting on and off the field. Cons Working mainly on Windows based platforms, and still having very limited support for Mac computers and tablets.
