SmartRead is an AI-enabled document processing tool for the Japanese business sector that seeks to streamline back-office tasks with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) technology. Not only does it convert vast amounts of redundant material from non-standard documents into usable information, saving important insights in the process and reducing manual entry workloads, but it also makes the data readable instantly. Geared toward the local market, the application is only available in Japanese, and it can read not only alphanumerical text but also Nipponese script and a variety of page layouts.
