KeePassX allows users to specify user-defined titles and icons for each entry, promoting better identification and enhancing data management. Individuals may determine different expiration dates, insert attachments, duplicate entries, create symbols for groups, and sort entries. The software has a search function enabling users to search an entire database or filter results to specific groups. Additionally, it offers database security by granting access with a password, key-file (a CD or memory stick), or both. It has a customizable password generator, letting businesses create secure passwords.
