Blancco is a fantastic tool and addition to our IT toolbox. It gets the job done effectively, is versatile in its use cases, and it is very easy to use.

Any problems we have faced are usually a result of user error or our infrastructure.
The method of receiving upgraded software is inconvenient.
It defiantly was a pain having to go in to the settings to change things before a wipe. But a lot of that has been alleviated now with the QR code.
The updating process can be a bit tricky, especially just upon release.

"Very satisfied for already a very long time"
Overall: We are very satisfied with the product and also the help if something is not working in case of an update. But this is a very rare situation.
Pros: We are working with Blancco since they exist: we highly appreciate the partnership with them and don't see them only as a supplier. Blancco is working most of the times and is a very reliable product to use. Also easy to use.
Cons: The import and conversion to Excel is not always easy to do, because you have to correct the columns and fields sometimes to much.

Overall: Great options and product. Meets all of my company's needs.
Pros: The dynamic options it offered for drive erasure.
Cons: Slow Support. I was not offered a centralized direct line of support.

Overall: Works as advertised. Securely wipes drives and files, using all sorts of different secure erasure protocols.
Pros: Very effective and easy to use. Lots of different file erasure protocols to choose from.
Cons: Not the most intuitive product to install. File erasure product has a 90's feel.

Overall: We have used Drive eraser for several years, Blancco always keep it up to date with the latest wiping algorithms and are constantly adding new helpful tools. Staff are always helpful and easy to contact when required.
Pros: Using their workflow we have been able to eliminate errors and ensure the correct procedures are followed every time
Cons: It may not be the cheapest, but it is by far the best

Pros: The support team is generally responsive and helpful, although there were times when it took longer than expected to get a resolution for more complex issues. The support portal and knowledge base are useful but could benefit from more up-to-date content. It’s also helpful when FAQs and guides have more real-world use cases and examples to clarify more technical details.
Cons: Migration of reports from old to new should be automated instead of few click one has to done for new blancco portal.

Overall: All in all pretty easy to use. suits our purposes for sure. as mentioned above it was a bit of a pain to go into settings and change debug mode etc .. but this is a lot better now with the QR code. It is quite quick and painless to use , which is exactly what we need in an IT tool. recommended

Cons: The only Con with Blancco is the time it took to build our drive erasure tech. It took considerable time to use their documentation to get up to speed. Once we had everything built though, we learned we can't live without it now.

Overall: The support from Blancco is superb - from both a technical advice perspective, but also in the event of an issue we don't understand, they are always quick to respond and as quick to resolve!

Overall: If you are looking for a tool to delete drives which is also BSI compliant, I can definitely recommend Blancco.
Pros: Works without issues and it's easy to handle. The support team is also very helpful and has always been able to solve our problems promptly.
Cons: Not so much at the moment, but we are still testing so maybe we will found something later :)
