Each donor's profile can be extremely organized and go very in depth in terms of keeping track of your type of contact with the donor, when that was, and what their preferences are regarding outreach and contact. Cons Not many negatives. However, there are a lot of resources that can be used on Raiser's Edge so if you are new it could be overwhelming at first. Review Source EF Erin F. The ability and opportunity to create actions and call reports right after a meeting is fantastic! Pros I like the viewing capability and the ability to upload documents. Cons When uploading documents via NXT they are not necessarily in the normal 'desktop' RE constituent record. Review Source CA Cristy A. This software was built to serve organizations with complex record management systems. There are many levels and options for customization but it helps for there to be one person or team of people who are trained to manage it so that it stays uniform and records aren't repeated. It is well-established. It is highly customizable and complex. Cons It is not very intuitive. It is excellent if you are a data person tracking and reporting on data, but it is difficult--although quite possible--for your average fundraiser to learn. Review Source TT Thomas T. My team is available and very helpful whenever I need them, and for whatever reason. I have used this database in previous jobs and it's always a pleasure to work with. Cons Configuration and set up is a nightmare. I can't recommend that someone use an "advanced" spreadsheet that is difficult to install and prepare for large scale use.
