Pros It integrates very easily with most task management tools like Trello. You can simply add it to Chrome and gives easy to read reports at the end of the week of what you had spent your time on. It's great Cons I would have liked to customize push notifications so that if I had been on a task more than my expected time it would alert me so that I could prioritize my time more efficiently. Pretty simple to set up and tune for the whole team. Cons The overall quality isn't that good - at least once per week it crashes right in a browser or loses the name of the task tracked. Report tool has no option to export the report with merged duplicates, so I have to do it manually to provide meaningful reports to the client. It's not mandatory, but we think it helps us to work better and more effectively. Pros Tracking and using the time most efficiently is an essential task for any business. And Toggl helps us achieve that. It easily integrates into our daily workflow. Using Pomodoro brakes not only helps at being more effective at what we do but also keeps the team more fit by taking those necessary brakes. It's incredibly useful to keep track of my time manually this way without having to think back at the end of the day and say "what did I do?" Pros I find Toggl to be incredibly user-friendly. Pros I am using this as a freelancer where I keep track (daily or hourly) for several clients. The UI is great, unobtrusive and easy to use. Great usability and easy to generate reporting for billing clients. I am probably not a power user, but it's a much better tool than you would get if you were tracking things in a spreadsheet! Cons Nothing really — it's a great piece of software. Pros I liked how it would track each project. I prefer to bill exactly the amount of time it takes to do a task and Toggl is the best way to track task by task for billable hours. You can track your time/tasks online or also add them later manually, if you forgot something. Easy to make corrections. And it sends a reminder if your day is running over 8h. It's a very focused tool that does it very well. It's very flexible, it has integrations with many apps, it offers very good reports and possibility to export them to different formats, and you can manage teams. Pros Very flexible, very easy tu use and great reports. It has a nice integration to Jira. Cons When I type the task description, the autofill should search for a wider date range. The app has been built up so much and remains so intuitive. Pros Toggl is a no fuss time tracking tool which helps us to track and report on time spent on projects, and then bill accordingly. The free plan took care of us really well. Cons The free plan included all the basic features we needed. Understandably, we need to pay for the service. Since i started time-racking, I'm much more focused and i understand better when I'm wasting or gaining time. I make me give much better and detailed invoices to my clients. Pros With Toggl i started to be more organized and started to "respect" my time more. It gives me great insight on how I'm spending my freelancing time. The app is very easy to use, create projects and small tasks integrated into that same project. I love that integrates so nice with Trello. Cons I didn't find any cons that are worth mentioning. Being able to moveback and forth between products is really helpful. Easy to use interface so can start and stop recording quickly and easily. Cons Cant thin of any cons yet. We had used it for many months before we switched to a cheaper option, but for a business that has a larger budget, this might be a great option! Pros The fact that Toggl can create very customized entries is probably what takes the prize! You can be very specific about each entry, specifying the project under which to make it, giving your entry a descriptive heading, and tagging it as billable or non-billable. It also has great dashboard resources for creating reports, monitoring the workload of your team members etc. Cons I did not notice any drawbacks with Toggl while using it - it is really a great product! August 2, 2018 5.0 Pros I have used Toggl quite a bit for work purposes and tracking my travel and work times as well as tracking times for employees and it is so easy to use! You simply have to turn on the timer and when you are done, can turn it off and easily describe what you are doing for your employer. Cons I think a few times I had an issue with my times that I recorded missing and that was a bit inconvenient but other than that, it worked fine. Just to be sure to check every week that your times are recorded just in case. I don't think I entirely understand how to display aggregates of Projects vs. sub-projects, but that's probably because I just haven't taken the time to figure it out since the default display is so useful for me! October 29, 2020 5.0 Even if you're still developing good time keeping habits to track time spent on a project or its phases, Toggl is a simple and forgiving tool to help Type A + B personalities get their time tracked. If you forget to stop a timer, no problem! It's easy to adjust as needed. It has lovely project naming features and tags that are beautifully arranged in the reporting module. The free timer version has a lot to offer and I recommend this tool to any industry, person, or group that is struggling to find a simple solution to help quantify their efforts/awesomeness. Pros This is by far the easiest time tracker to use and had a high voluntary adoption rate in our company. The reports are wonderful too. Customer support is swift and has good communication. Thank you for supporting Ukraine in such hard times. Pros Tracking time with mobile and desktop apps is very easy to use. Reports have big amount of filters and could be exported to csv and pdf formats. We are using Reports for accounting and analytics . Cons Native Apple Silicon apps are a great move forward. But the usability is lower than in previous apps. I hope you will improve them quickly. I recommend it to anyone who freelances. Pros It's really easy to get started, it's easy to start and stop the timer, and it takes the math out of tallying up how many hours I've spent on a project. I often take on projects that go on for months, at the end of which it can be hard to understand how many hours I've really spent on it over time. This makes it easy to track and report on hours used. Cons It took a little time to figure out how to assign a project when starting the timer--if I didn't designate a project from the get go, it was a little gnarly figuring out how to set it after the fact. Pros The setup was fairly easy, some features needs a bit of FAQ-reading but the main features with time tracking and reporting are fairly straight forward. For us this has been a great tool to see how much time each project gets. Cons Some features are a bit clunky but there's always a solution hidden somewhere.
