If you don't require tracking time outside your time zone, then this one could work for you. But if you need more options, I'd look elsewhere. Pros Its easy to just start tracking your time and work. I also like the added features that shows how many hours you worked within a certain time period so its easy for me to see my total hours. Also, the dark mode option was great as well! Cons I don't like that I cant change my timezone. One of my work projects requires me to track my time in that time zone and for some reason this app makes it impossible to do so. Pros It was easy to add new projects and to review total time spent on different tasks. You can also see how much time a colleague has spent already on a project. The analysis features are awesome, being able to see how much time is spent each day and on what. The pomodoro integration is nice and keeps me accountable. As a medical student, this tool is very powerful for managing time and keeping on track. Cons I wish I could generate a Google Calendar link and then use that to link my Google Cal with Toggl. I do not want to have to log in to my Google account in order to have this feature, and I’d like to have it as a separate calendar which I can toggle on and off on the Google side. Pros Easy to toggle time. Nice and easy to use MacOS app. But great to have a webportal to find out more about the toggled time. And also and API to get the data to other platform Cons No option to start a timer from a notion page on the desktop app. Would love to not have to copy and past the time entry name and other details. It's solid software that does what it promises, and doesn't promise what it doesn't offer. Pros Easy to use system. Great for keeping track of billable time. Cons Tags are handy but of limited use for reporting (you can filter using tags, but you can't group activities by tags in a report). Cons Suggest types of tasks instead of apps. For example, "programming" instead of VS Code, and match with the previous patterns. This gives great insights into how I spend my most crucial asset, Time. Pros This is pretty intuitive to use. I use it to track the hours I spend on particular tasks. The desktop app will even track your computer usage so you don't have to go back and remember what you did manually. Cons This is a personal problem, but I just don't like tracking my time! However, I recently switched to one of their competitors due to the recent redesign. Pros I love how Toggl Track helps me manage clients and projects so efficiently. The Jira integration is a huge plus since I use it daily, and the iOS app works great on my iPhone. Plus, exporting PDFs is super easy, which makes sharing reports a breeze. Cons The biggest downside for me is the recent redesign. The interface feels too busy, and the color scheme—deep pink and purple—just doesn’t work for me. It makes the app harder to navigate. I also don’t like that I can only track time by signing up, as I’m used to another tool that lets me track without logging in. Some features, like detailed reporting and team management, are locked behind the paid plan too, which is a bit frustrating. That’s actually why I ended up switching to one of their competitors.
