October 14, 2022 5.0 Uncat has reduced a lot of time-consuming tactics for getting client feedback on uncategorized transactions. This app has largely replaced long spreadsheets, phone calls, and meetings and a lot of back and forth with clients to get the books properly updated. Pros Uncat is very easy to use, our clients find it easy to use, approving transactions is very simple, it allows for document attachment and messaging in relation to individual transactions, the dashboard makes it easy to see what clients need attention, client notes are added directly to the description that syncs back to Quickbooks. Bookkeeper Accounting Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "What a Great Tool!!!" November 17, 2022 5.0 When I signed up for Uncat I used the wrong email address and didn't realize it. I couldn't get into my account because of that. Uncat responded quickly and everything was great. So far I am so excited about adding this to my tech stack. Pros Integrations is seamless. Support is wonderful. And it makes the client accountable for getting me what I need to support them effortlessly and without continually extracting and sending Excel Worksheets to them only to get lost in email. I can still move on with my tasks without waiting for information. Cons I'm not sure there is anything yet. Some of the options are still unclear to me, but I haven't had the opportunity to go through all of the training videos yet. I am sure there are features I can still take advantage of. We don't have to ask our clients for every sort of small things. Clients can directly click on the link and do the needful for either filling-up the description, uploading receipts,ask questions and do comments on the transaction.It is easy to use for us as well as for our clients. I connect the QBO account, adjust the settings for what transactions I want to include, send out the invite, and we are off and running. Cons I want an import feature. I do have some very small clients not in QBO. Ideally I would like to be able to still use Uncat for them so that all my client questions are in one place. I have not mastered the whole tool, but using it every day provides an opportunity to learn something new, a factor which has been crucial in boosting my career and network. I use this with all of my clients. Pros What I like most is the ease of use and simplicity of this software. Clients are able hit the ground running with their Uncategorized transactions without much direction from me. Cons I do feel that more complex clients who use job costing are sometimes unable to use Uncat. For example, many times I want to choose a job but I can only choose a customer. Pros Uncat solves the biggest bottleneck accountants face when working with monthly/quarterly clients. Rather than create/organize/send spreadsheets every month to clients, everything is done seamlessly in one platform. We save an unbelievable amount of time on our end, and everything is simple on the client's end too. Cons Not exactly a con, but it took a few weeks to get used to the platform and updating/saving changes as I made them. After using it a few times, it became second nature.
