CEO Accounting Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "An inexpensive, elegant solution" October 24, 2022 5.0 Pros Uncat makes it very easy to flag transactions that need input from the client to classify by syncing to a designated account in QBO. In other words, if you sync to the "Needs Input" QBO account then all transactions that are in that account appear automatically in Uncat. When you are ready to notify the client, you can do that from within Uncat and the client will be sent a link and instructed to provide the missing information. Cons There isn't really anything I can think of that is lacking. It is a straightforward tool with one use, and it is good at it. October 19, 2022 5.0 Very happy with the free trial. I the bookkeeper and the client both agreed it simplified our communication process and made it easier on both our ends. Pros Uncat integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks Online, and when transactions are updated in Uncat QBO is updated almost immediately. Much more efficient than emailing an excel spreadsheet to a client each week which is what I was currently doing.I also appreciated the videos when you first sign up that are located in each section to give an overview of the features. Almost everything is customizable to meet user needs. Cons nothing that I can think of, so far everything has been very easy to use. Reason for choosing Uncat Wasn't even really looking for alternatives at the time, Partner of the firm heard it on a podcast and thought it would be a great program to add to our list. Cons The cost for month to month use without actually using the software, bookkeepers have the ability to find uncategorized transactions for free in quickbooks. The clients that use this product are typically the ones in the go traveling often and do not have time for one or one reports each month. Cons I would like to be able to change the dashboard colors. They are to light for me. Reason for choosing Uncat I was looking for an application that would easily work we my current client communication platform. I did not want to switch platforms and I was looking for software that would provide a link that I could paste into a message to a client. Uncat was everything I was looking for.
