So excited to have found this software. Took us under an hour to implement it with 3 clients and I have already saved so much time not creating spreadsheets and emails trying to track down information. It will become an integral part of our practice!

Pros

Super easy to implement, clients love it, and the price is right!

Cons

Under client settings there is an option to include or exclude accounts. This feature sems a little touchy when mapping the list.

Pros

I like the user-friendliness of the software and how it allows for automatic reminders to our clients. This software has eliminated the need for tracking open items and having back-and-forth communications.

Cons

Sometimes we get unexpected results and wish we had more customizable features for user interfacing.

Pros

We were having way too many back and forth emails with clients over transaction questions. Uncat solved that problem painlessly and for a great price! We are saving time each month, but our clients have an easier experience answering our questions as well.

Cons

No cons that I can think of. If I'm being very picky, the Dashboard visuals could use a bit of polishing, but that is really insignificant!

I appreciate the simplicity and the ease of use of Uncat. I decided on Uncat over other software because of the customizability of the transaction feed and also how simple it is for my clients to be able to access their accounts and easily provide feedback on specific transactions. It has been essential in streamlining my communication with my clients.

Pros

It is simple enough for my clients to be able to pick it up and start using it right away, and customizable enough to gather necessary transaction information.

Cons

Would like to see a few more features, but they are continually improving.

I find Uncat a useful and well polished service, with it's cool Web UI which grabs the attention and obviously the service.

Pros

As an accounting firm, this has enhanced our ability to communicate transactions with our clients that we need help with. Our clients respond much faster, and seem to enjoy completing their tasks. I also believe they are not as overwhelmed as with a spreadsheet. Best of all, the software is cheap enough that it makes sense for us to use it for ALL of our clients!!

Cons

I haven't seen anything yet that I do not like

I love using Uncat! It makes my life (and my clients' lives!) so much simpler!

Pros

I love that I don't have to constantly send my clients a long list of questions! I also love that Uncat sends reminders automatically, so I'm not the one bugging my client to keep up on the list! ;) I also love that I can add a note to a specific transaction. But my favorite feature is the syncing with QuickBooks! I only have to work in one program, but it updates both!!!

Cons

Sometimes the account drop-down box is sticky, or won't pull up the account I need, but this is a minor problem when compared to all of the benefits of using Uncat.

The ease of use and low cost made using Uncat an easy choice. The responsiveness from the support team is an added bonus.

Pros

The set up an implementation was very easy. There was no training required and I had my first client working with the system within an hour of signing up for the trial.

Cons

There is a specific field in QuickBooks that I would like populated with the clients' notes from Uncat but that field is not an option.

UnCat has saved me hours of exporting spreadsheets to send to clients- only to have them ignore my emails. UnCat sends them a text and they usually respond right away!

I love that my clients don't need a login or password to remember!

My client is on the go all the time and hates working on her computer. She was rarely willing to sit down on her own and go through the uncategorized transactions. With Uncat she can update them from her phone and has been happily taking care of them weekly! It's amazing how the interface has made all the difference for her.

Pros

Easy setup, intuitive interface, phone link to dashboard.

Cons

I haven't identified anything yet. All the questions that came up during setup turned out to be features they'd already thought of.
