Pros

The Google platform is incredibly robust - I use email, forms, tasks, drive, and keep.

Cons

Sometimes I crave a more pleasing aesthetic, but it is possible that this could be easily adjusted and I simply need to figure out how. :)

Overall, it is an ideal work platform. Our whole team is connected; we can easily share documents, schedule meetings, and have a shared calendar.

Pros

It has everything in one place. All I have to do is sign in to my Google account, and I can see everything and continue working from any device.

Cons

Google has a tendency to kick me out of my account right when I am in the middle of something to secure my account. It's not a big deal; I just have to sign back in.

As a professional or business owner, it's essential, but I believe it could definitely be improved for the "little guys".

Pros

It's fairly easy to set up and create a workspace, and the default settings and apps are very good value. Getting access to the entire Google ecosystem in a professional capacity is a great boon to productivity.

Cons

Unfortunately there is not a "basic" or "simple" Workspace setup; you're treated the same whether you're an independent contractor, or a multi-million dollar company. This makes it pretty difficult to get some things done, as you have to go in and tweak a bunch of deep layered settings, or find out that it's not really supported at all.

Google Calendar is essential for scheduling classes and personal training sessions, as it’s accessible across all devices, which our staff and members appreciate. There are some areas where it could be more streamlined, but Google Workspace has made organizing and managing our operations far simpler, which ultimately helps us deliver better service to our members.

Pros

As a manager at a gym, what I like most about Google Workspace is the ability to streamline communication and scheduling. Google Calendar makes it easy to schedule classes, set reminders, and share schedules with team members, which keeps everyone on the same page. With Google Drive and Docs, I can quickly create and store shared documents, like training audits, attendance sheets, and class schedules, so our team can access essential information anytime. Collaboration is smooth and efficient, as we can edit documents in real time, leave comments, and assign tasks—all of which help us stay organized and reduce downtime. Plus, Gmail and Google Chat provide quick communication channels, making it easy to stay connected with the team, address member questions, and coordinate on the go.

Cons

One challenge with Google Workspace as a gym manager is that some of the tools can feel a bit fragmented, especially when switching between multiple apps like Calendar, Drive, and Chat to manage different aspects of the business. It would be helpful if there was a more centralized dashboard that could integrate everything in one place, so we don’t need to keep toggling between apps. Also, while Google Meet is great for virtual meetings, it lacks some of the advanced features we’d want for interactive sessions or training, like in-meeting feedback or easy file sharing for participants, which would make it more effective for team coordination. Finally, new team members sometimes find the learning curve a bit steep, especially if they’re not familiar with Google’s interface, so training time can be a bit longer.

Per chi ama il mondo Google e per chi desidera lavorare in modo ordinato e organizzare bene documenti, team e azienda, Workspace risulta un vero alleato. Mi piace tanto come tutto sia facilmente gestibile anche senza troppe capacità tecniche

Cons

Non mi piacciono alcuni upgrade di pacchetto, cioè mi piacerebbe poter acquistare un singolo componente o fare un upgrade temporaneo di alcune funzioni invece di dover fare un upgrade ad un abbonamento più costoso senza avere la reale necessità di tutte le funzioni.

I've had great experiences using Google Workspace for several jobs now. It's very easy to use and maintain, and also instruct our less tech savvy coworkers on how to use. Where as when I have used similar products from Microsoft in the past, it has become extremely cumbersome due to version differences and OneDrive being... Well, OneDrive.

Pros

Easy to use and maintain. Much more user friendly than Microsoft equivalent. You don't have to install anything on a computer to use it. Being able to quickly access things from your Drive in to your Gmail, Google Meet, or other spots (like Slack) is super easy and makes for a pleasant user experience. It's much more difficult to use similar products with Microsoft or with any other open source software.

Cons

The apps for Mobile aren't as robust as one would like, but they're still pretty good. There are no apps for docs/sheets/slides/drive for Amazon Kindle, which is rather annoying, they simply open a website in Silk. However, most "apps" in the Kindle store are of a similar nature, so I can sort of excuse it.

Pros

It integrates a host of production apps, collaboration, and communication tools to aid workflow and business processes. Additionally, it supports several extensions that help keep me productive.

Cons

Google Workspace fails to have a dedicated illustrator tool on par with LucidChart, Vizio, or Illustrator. It is the one glaring issue that I have to go elsewhere to meet my business needs. JamBoard is ok but does not have all the features as some of the products that I mentioned.

The ease of use to enter a a chat invitation is straightforward. You just enter the workspace and it’s right there

Cons

I’m not sure that there’s much I don’t like about it. It’s very easy to use. Let’s face it, there’s guys that are totally inefficient on using apps on their phone that I have easily been able to teach it essily
