February 28, 2026 4.0 My overall experience with Google Workspace has been very positive, and I can’t see myself using any other programs for documents. Pros have always been a big fan of Google’s and Google Drive's applications. The instant saving feature has always been why I use Google. I like the organization of the Google Workspaces platform and how I can personally sort my own documents, slides, and forms. The shared drive and calendar allow for efficient group workflow. Cons My least favorite feature about Google Workspace and had to transfer all of our files from one main account and a secondary account. I've been using it for the cohesion between Gmail, Sheets, Google Docs and Google Form and Google Drive. Pros Google Workspace is very easy to use and to share documents seamlessly with colleagues. It's easy to work on documents at the same time without the worry of a lag. Cons What I like the least about Google Workspace is that it takes time for Google Drive to upload videos and pictures. " February 16, 2026 5.0 I have integrated Google Workspace as our primary cloud service, our entire server now runs through Google and things have never been better. No more remoting into the server through a third-party screen mirroring system, no more downtime trying to get an updated copy of something. Everything is updated in real time and can be accessed from anywhere you have internet. Pros Google Workspace makes it super easy to share files back and forth with my employes! Everything updates instantly and we can all access anything we want, from wherever we want. The cloud storage makes it so I never have to worry about a file going missing or getting corrupted on our traditional server. Since we have been using Google there have been no major bugs or issues that have interrupted service. When there is a bug issue being investigated, Google makes sure to promptly send out updates regarding the issue and keeps you informed every step of the way. As the person in charge, having access to Google Vault really seals the deal, I can never live without it at this point. Cons I am not a huge fan of Google Sheets and it is hard to pull myself away from the functionality of Excel, but the convenience of Google Sheets being a quick and reliable web-based platform really makes it worth it when we have to collaborate as a team. Cons Offline functionality is limited; if internet connectivity drops, certain apps lose functionality, which can slow work during travel or weak connections. As a company, we can easily share files, schedules. Both security rules and interface are very granular yet easy to implement. Cons I only have one issue with Google WOrkspce. Sometimes the one add-on I use does not load when loading Gmail. I need to refresh the window once or twice then it loads. Cons It does miss some features relative to Microsoft such as some features on team or security of authentication. I also feel like the UI is a bit dated. Google is much better designed, has a better UI, and strikes a better balance between sophistication and ease of use. Pros I like how many different operations tools there are that are seamlessly integrated, and how well the Google Workspace Apps integrate with other third-party apps via API. I rely heavily on file sharing features for both internal operations and in our file-sharing with our clients, and it is easy for us and the customer to use. Cons Sometimes finding the right place in settings can be difficult to find, and Google's help site is not always well organized due to the incredibly dense layers of different apps and systems on their platform. Pros I found Google Workspcae is the most popular cloud suite on market, It gives all your important and useful application at one place like Gmail, Docs,Meet, Calendar, Sheets, Drive, and more into an itegrated cloud platform. I've used it personally and even professionally. Compare to Microsoft 365 I've found Google Workspace is not too afforadable adn value for money. The pricing tiers are competitive comapared to Microsoft 365. The client and other team members can access what we have going on at the time. Pros It is a great value for the money. It is easy to use and incorporates all aspects of communication. I like that we can add things to drives that only our clients can access with the options to view, edit or manage. I haven ran into any bugs or issues using the app and have never had to utilize the customer support. Which to me is a huge plus! Cons At the present time I have no cons using Google Workspace. I encounter few, if any issues when working within Spreadsheets, Documents, or when making use of extensions like YAMM. I would recommend the platform to cost conscious businesses, as a genuine alternative to traditionally selected productivity suites e.g. O365. Pros I use Google Workspace when working with clients who have implemented the solution as their productivity platform. The cost effectiveness of the solution is almost unrivalled, and the depth and breadth of features make the Google Workspace suite a real competitor to established office software suites. As a native MS Office user from '95 to present, I find Google Workspace to be familiar in layout, and all products are designed intuitively. Particularly useful is the attachment of Google Drive within all web applications for document storage and file sharing. I have encountered few, if any, bugs. The product feels as though it is regularly updated and refreshed, in line with Google's standard approach to customer support and service. Cons I have two minor issues, which may well be a user training issue... The email client feels clumsy when compare to Microsoft Outlook desktop, with limited lists of email's displayed within a single view, making multi-select of thousands of message more tedious than it ought to be. Within the same tool, I find the New Email pop-up to be a frustrating and less intuitive tool to use. Other than these very minor, and preferential items, I have few if any negatives to share about the general use of Google Workspace. There are improvements to be made in the usability of the product that would make it a leader in its field. Pros Google Workspace is competitively priced for an organisation. It offers a simple user journey towards standardisation in preparation for any kind of certifications. The Admin management console is intuitive, and it is easy to control domains. The permissions can be set up for an organisation to ease the mind of many common security worries. Cons There are a lot of bloat features that exist on the product, where I would be surprised if many people use them. For example, when setting up a new group, the default settings leave multiple security gaps that are easily overlooked when someone not so eagle eyed sets one up - stuff like letting the entire organisation view the emails/content of the group. December 6, 2025 5.0 Google Workspace is the "operating system" of my business. It was easy to set up without an IT department, and it scales well as we add new employees. Pros Professionalism: It was incredibly easy to set up a custom email domain (@mybusiness.com) which makes us look much more professional. Cost-effective: getting email, storage, video conferencing, and document editing all in one subscription is a crazy good deal. Mobile App: The mobile apps (Gmail, Drive) are excellent and let me run my business entirely from my phone when I'm on the go. Cons Support: Reaching a real human for support can be difficult on the lower-tier plans, you mostly get directed to help articles. Storage Limits: The entry level storage limits fill up faster than you expect if you store a lot of high-res images or videos. Owner Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Solid everyday toolkit for a remote team" December 9, 2025 5.0 Google Workspace has become the default hub for our team’s work. We use Gmail and Calendar all day, and Docs,Sheets,Slides for most of our documents and reporting. It’s easy to bring new people on because most folks are already familiar with at least part of it. There are occasional quirks and minor annoyances, but nothing that’s been a deal-breaker. For day-to-day collaboration, especially with a distributed team, it does the job reliably and has made it much easier to keep everyone on the same page. Pros I like that almost everything I need to do in a day lives in one place. Email, calendar, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Drive – it all ties together without me having to think about it. Realtime collaboration in Docs and Sheets is the standout for me, I can see my teammates typing, leave comments, and resolve threads without sending ten different versions back and forth. Sharing files is also straightforward once you get used to the permissions. Search is another big plus, being able to quickly find an old email or document by a keyword has saved me more than once. Cons Offline use is still a bit clunky. If my connection drops, working in Docs or Sheets can be hit or miss, and sometimes I’m not 100 sure everything synced properly. Google Meet is generally fine, but screen sharing can occasionally lag or freeze, especially with larger meetings or lots of people on video. The admin/settings area also isn’t very intuitive for nontechnical users; there are a lot of options buried in different menus, so it takes a while to figure out where everything is.
