December 3, 2025 5.0 Google Workspace has been the right solution for our company. We are able to share docs, sheets, and forms between all of our branch offices seamlessly. It allows for overview of workspaces and the ability to share documents with our entire company. Pros I think Google Workspace is a superior team management workspace. It is extremely easy to navigate between the 20 shared drives that we have with each of our branch offices. I am able to move documents easily. Being able to use a special @ for emailing purposes makes team communication efficient. We have drives for "living" documents and drives for "finished" documents. Having drives for viewing only comes in really handy to make sure no one deletes or changes a "finished" document. Cons I think the Google Admin workspace is a little difficult to navigate and could use a better UI. Adding or deleting users can be tricky. Review Source Jim C. November 30, 2025 5.0 I used Google Workspace as working environment cooperation tools when I was technical support lead in GCP platform, I also play as a tier one support for some issues routed to my team. Pros It covers all necessary tools needed in daily job, such as docs, forms, sheets, storage, email ,etc. All tools are provided as SAAS service, not rely on OS and platforms. Cons Some tools required adjustment in usage habit, for example, when multiple users modify Google Docs or Google sheets at the same time, it lock one cell or words, which is very different from traditional Microsoft tools usage. Google Workspace being able to connect to all of them, but also act as a planner, helps make it easier to get my job done. Pros Google Workspace is a great tool that works as an integrated system with your Gmail, drive, etc.. It like that it is also helpful from a calendar perspective with scheduling and video conferencing. Cons I’d say the biggest downfall to Google Workspace is the lack of customer support. I have had a very hard time trying to get a hold of someone when issues arise. As a remote workforce, a cloud based tool is essential for managing our data, documents, and files, in a secure and central spot for easy access and use by our team. We use the full suite of products from Gmail to Drive to Gemini to support our business. I recommend it. Pros Google workspace is a fantastic tool. I own a small business and find it to be great value for money. The collaboration and file sharing tools are easy to use and work well when making changes in real time with the ability to track everything. It is user friendly and logical in how it works plus if there's something you can't work out its simple to find answers or tutorials with a google search. Cons Not being able to change the document owner to someone outside of your organisation. This is annoying as i often work with clients who jave their own google account so they need to make a copy of any docs to be an owner. It would be easier if I could change the ownership to them. Pros We already use Google products, so the transition is easy. Clients are used to it so we can share files without problems, price is good. I have yet to even get close to running out of storage. Cons I would like Gemini to help with managing my emails more, and I am looking forward to Google Drive connecting to out CRM, something that's been worked on for close to a year now. Pros It was really easy to set up and integrate with all of our toolstack. We wanted to use Google for Drive, Emails, and Shared Calendars, compared to sharepoint - Much more user friendly, and the customer support was great, helped us verify everything really quickly and proactively. Cons Can get pricey with many users, but regardless, I do believe you get your money's worth as they give you a Gemini AI Pro for each user of the workspace. Also, not the best UI for Document Management for projects, you will need other tools, such as Notion. Pros This platform makes business collaboration and working sharing super easy and efficient. We absolutely love Google Drive and Docs and have transformed the way we work together. The tools like Gmail and Calendar are super easy to use as people are so familiar with them. Cons There are some weak tools in there like Chat so we have had to supplement with Slack and Zoom so there are hidden costs depending on your needs. The Admin console also needs an overhaul with better automation/onboarding workflows and also Idnetity Management could be improved to compete with Entra and Okta.
