January 17, 2018 5.0 Super fast transactions, happy customers, easy to train new staff on which was critical for our seasonal business that turned over 50+% every year. The interface is a breeze, and we especially like the fact that it supported Variable rate pricing which allowed us to maximize revenues based on which timeframes were the most popular with customers. It also allows us to give refunds when customers come back early which they tell us over and over is a huge reason they love renting from us. Definitely worth including them in your list of software to test. We are really glad we work with them and recommend them highly, especiialy if customer flow is a key ingredient in your business. Pros This rental POS software sped up the customer flow at Young's Bicycle Shop, a Nantucket Bike Rental Shop in a huge way which made our customers happier and grew our revenues. Cons many of the issues we faced were for a version that they have since upgraded when the move went from a locally hosted pos to a Cloud based bike rentals software tool. Review Source JO James O. General Manager Sports Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Easy To Use" November 29, 2016 5.0 We could not be happier with the newest version of Rent it Biz. We were able to get it up and rolling in a fraction of the time as other POS systems we have used. It easyily keeps track of over 1000 rental bikes and this newest version is even able to handle our rental car business as well as retail, all in one easy to use package. We succesfully train upwards of ten teenage employees to use this software every year. Looking forward to continue working with this company and continue to make the product even better. I could go on for pages. If they can come up with a major overhaul and get everything to work that is set up on there this would be a dream. if you have another POS system and just want to do rental you might like it. but for the money you would be better of with pen and paper for rentals. I really hope the new update fixes all the problems the program has. Pros The lay out of Rent it biz with its front desk and back office is killer!!! the Idea of rentals is good. but not great yet. The over all idea of rent it biz is better then anyone out there. Cons So this software is very limited and I find they will say it can do things it can not do just to sell it. Then when you find out how many kinks it has in the system it becomes more my fault and not the problem of the software. Even after thy tell me there are issues. They just never fix them. Most problems take along time to fix. The reporting only half works. And even though it says it exports to Q books, well that is broke also! this software has major promise if they could get the right people behind it. For me I am think I need to switch. It was made to make me money and save time but it seems to be the other way around. once you get the rentals set up it works ok but with all the other problems I am not sure it is worth it. Pros unlike the old system the new system allows for actual changes and still has the ease of use. OWNER Used the software for: ### "Thank you" November 11, 2010 5.0 If you are looking for a solid rental software, you found it Pros We have been using Rentitbiz for 6+ years and have found it to be extremely user friendly. A few years ago we converted from the old dos version to windows without an issues mainly due to the staff at Rentitbiz. Recently we have been exploring options to expand our business to another location and the service / advice we received from rentitbiz on how to make it work with our software was not only great but very cost effective. I would highly recommend this company and obviously the products they offer. Cons We have no complaints Review Source AS A S. On busy days we can keep up with data entry, transactions, and rental inventory. If you are looking for a low cost POS for bike rental, this is a good system. If they improve their retail back end reporting this software would be an excellent solution for a full service bicycle retail shop. Pros Software layout makes it easy to quickly rent bikes and print contracts. System also is decent for tours Company has data export to excel spread sheets for accounting purposes.This has been a godsend for our bookkeeper Support is responsive and helpful. Cons Back office reports are static and changes require custom charges. System handles retail however retail inventory reporting is lacking. November 22, 2016 5.0 Rent-it-Biz is so easy. Everything is laid out very clearly.
