Best thing ever that could have come along to make my job easier and interesting. We were told at our initial training with one of the Training Consultants that it is a learning process and would take a couple of performance appraisals to get the full hang of it. This was so true. Once we learned all the short cuts and the processes, it was so easy to train the managers and supervisors . Of course, like everythign else, there will be hickups along the way, but with a knowledgable support staff at the end of a phone line, these hickups are easily resolved. The support staff delivers the highest level of service, they are dedicated to their clients, never fails to give a call back and will listen to the client's suggestions on how to make improvements that benefits all their clients.

Great system, pretty easy to utilize and the employees love it. Overall, we need to take the time to ensure the factors are related to each position and then follow through with goals. Customer Service is fantastic. Knowledgeable staff, fast service, walk throughs, call backs. Love it!!

Pros

What I like the most is customer service, very useful and patient. Also that allows to align individual objectives to employees with strategic initiatives, making sure they are aligned and committed to the company

Cons

Learning about changes in updates can be difficult to adapt, there have also been times when email notifications have not arrived

Pros

I'm able to customize the software myself to fit the changing needs of my organization. I support 4 organizations and each one wanted something a little different.

Cons

Summary sections aren't visible when the manager completes the review. Would like a better administrator interface.

What I liked least was that they didn't talk to each other, however, it looks like you are fixing that.

The best customer service available. Each time I have an issue I call and get a quick response and most of the time someone will walk me through the steps to fix the problem. They never make you feel stupid, even when the fix is a simple one!

Pros

the vast list of factors and their descriptions

Cons

When changes need to be made. Since we only use it basically only a review time which is once per year, this infrequency causes a lapse in memory on how to move throughout the site.

Pros - (1) Both goals and factors can be evaluated. (2) Employees are able to complete a self appraisal. (3) The majority of the appraisal process is very easy to navigate and complete. (4) Coaching comments are very helpful. (5) Love the e-signature feature. (6) Can customize the system to your needs. Cons - (1) The "finish appraisal" process has too many steps and is confusing (mark ready, merge, route, complete). (2) When appraisers print an appraisal, prior to it being approved and complete, the employee's comments do not print on the appraisal. (3) After an appraisal has been routed and the approving party reviews the appraisal and marks it as "not approved", the appraiser can "complete" it, even though it was not approved.

We have been using this program since 2003 for annual evaluations, to document coaching sessions, track introductory progress (30, 60, 90 days), add notes and documents related to job performance, review job descriptions, develop new job descriptions, and generate reports.

Pros

Very easy to use. Information up to date for industry.

Cons

When logging in, defaults to user name even though I cannot view my own file. Should just default to the first name on the menu.

This product is so user friendly that our HR Specialist was able to handle the entire implementation process without any assistance from IT staff. PerformancePro provided training for the administrators, appraisers and employees and was always available to answer any questions that came up during the process.

How user friendly it is for both the appraiser and the employee.

Performance Pro is a comprehensive review system that we customized for our particular business needs. We appreciate that it has the capability of reviewing both skill competencies and goals/objectives expected of our employees. It is highly customizable and the support and training are great. It is an easy to use system for administrators, appraisers and employees. It is an online file for all performance documents, forms, notes and review history. The library of jobs and job factors made it easy to customize for our needs. Customer Service is the best and people are available to assist you and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this product.

The software ease of setup and use was an important component of why we selected it. Additionally, the software is available for use throughout the year for all employees to go in and provide updates. Finally, the comments checker and comments suggestions are a great feature that helps keep us compliant.

This is our company's first venture into software for Performance Management. So far, Performance Pro appears to offer the features and flow that we need!

We've used Performance Pro for 3 years now and love the prefilled helpful comments (which we can customize). We really appreciate the customization available that allows us to enter quite a bit of detail in the scoring categories. It's a tremendous help for managers--especially new managers. The recent upgrade to the system got rid of some quirks, and enhanced other features.
