It's been a great experience, and the customer support has been awesome. Every time I have a question I am able to reach someone quickly to help me out. I think having this service makes it even more worth the money I'm paying.

Pros

I love how beautiful the software is, and how easy it is for the clients to approve materials and fixtures. It streamlines my process and it makes my studio look more professional.

Cons

I wish there was a feature where we can select a list of items together and produce an invoice for the clients without asking for payment within the app. Just as a "purchase order" but for the clients. It would be even better if we could integrate with Quickbooks to prepare the invoice there.

Overall would recommend for scheduling to any interior design company. We think it's a fantastic resource.

Pros

Programa has completely transformed the way our studio handles scheduling. It’s easy to use, intuitive, and keeps everything beautifully organised while maintaining a professional look that reflects well on our brand. We especially love the linked features and how seamlessly clients can review and approve schedules — it’s made the whole process smoother and more collaborative.

Cons

The trade portal and some of the additional capabilities aren’t quite there yet. We don’t tend to use those features, so it can feel like we’re paying for functions that don’t currently add value to our workflow. The subscription cost per user sort of works for us as a smaller business given we don't have many users, however I can imagine it would be offputting for a larger company.

My team and I have loved using Programa but don't really know how the timeline view is best used. Can't help but feel we are not maximising the full benefits of the platform because we haven't had a tutorial on the system/process.

Pros

Design led presentation format / ease of use - best for procurement. Great help chat. I also love that it's always being improved.

Cons

Invoicing features still in Beta mode and a bit clunky. Doesn't link to Free Agent, so less benefit for our studio.

It has been so stress free from start to finish. The customer support is second to none, the systems streamlined, clean and user friendly, and we LOVE the emails showcasing other studios, new product integration, and Programa updates. The client / trade onboarding videos are also incredibly useful.

Pros

Programa has instantly streamlined our inhouse systems and ease of base - line delivery to clients and trade teams. It is so easy to use, and the customer support is excellent.

Cons

We are looking forward to a more developed CRM functionality and customisation features of the client dashboard.

Loved the overall experience—Programa makes staying organised and managing clients effortless streamlining our roles.

Pros

I like being able to stay organised and keep track of everything through detailed schedules. I also really value the ability to create a client-facing dashboard where clients can view, accept, and monitor progress in real time.

Cons

I find the lack of in-depth financial tracking to be a limitation. While the Xero integration is very beneficial, it would be great to have more comprehensive visibility over invoices in relation to schedules—such as what’s been issued, what’s outstanding, and what hasn’t been sent yet. Having more analytical tools to track payments over time, compare them to previous periods, and forecast upcoming expenses would make it much easier to manage financials and review performance on a quarterly basis.

Programa has improved or ability to produce thorough schedules with consistent presentation standards and track client changes.

Pros

Programa has improved my workflow and increased the ability to manage projects on site with changes and ease of information. Construction teams consistently give positive feedback about interacting with our schedules.

Cons

Not all attachments come across well when creating a new item via URL Version control and tracking of changes could be improved.

i’ve really enjoyed using Programa. It’s intuitive and visually well-designed, and it’s made managing finishes, specifications, and client approvals much smoother. It’s also great having everything centralised and easy to update.

Pros

ease of use. programa has been seamless in helping make the design process easier. customer support has also been great, very easy to get in touch and get help where required

Cons

I think the moodboards could be a bit more intuitive, would like to be able to layer my moodboards a bit more. also sometime the web clipper is a bit glitchy

Programma is a no brainer for my small stuido. I could never go without it at this point, it streamlines our design process from lead call to installation and every update makes it even more valuable. The customer service is totally on point too!

Pros

Programma streamlines ALL of my internal processes and winds up saving me hours on project management. It is also incredibly easy to get started and begin your own templates and work flow.

Cons

As helpful as the schedules are, the fields need to be more customizable. I need to be able to turn off all of the fields that are not being used. Id also like to create my own fields.

A key benefit is that it has helped standardize the process for every project manager and designer at the firm.

Pros

The visual organization is a huge plus—it makes sharing information with clients attractive and easy to digest. On top of that, it's a superb way to keep tabs on our progress.

Cons

The existing board sections (TO DO, IN PROGRESS, IN REVIEW, DONE) are functional, but the board used to be more customizable. It would be great to regain the ability to add personal, custom sections.

Overall, I’ve had a great experience with Programa. It makes my workflow smoother and helps me stay organized from concept to install. My clients love how polished everything looks — I just hope they keep expanding some of the features so it can do even more.

Pros

I really like how clean and easy Programa is to use. It keeps all my projects, specs, and client info organized in one place, which saves me so much time. The presentation layouts look super professional, and it makes sharing design boards and proposals with clients really simple.

Cons

Some parts feel a little limited. I wish there was more flexibility with customizing layouts and better integration with other tools I use. A few features still feel like they’re in progress, so sometimes I have to find little workarounds to get things just right.

Pretty good, room for improvement, but already an excellently positioned product that has a great potential of expansion in different branches, accommodating many other industry professionals.

Pros

The ease of creating an FF&E schedule, how it can be filled via the URL function quickly and almost perfectly without retouching the products in question. How elegant and streamlined the system is to provide a dashboard, our final clients can see, sift through and check for approval. The customer support for every question I had so far. Possibility to create a user-friendly, detailed export for design purposes, enabling us to manage our projects and provide meaningful information to contractors, clients alike. Possibility to add presentations from Canva and pins from Pinterest, probably the best integrations for interior architectural design that are not technical. Great value through and through!

Cons

Bit tricky for calculating profit margins, coming from a B2B distributor working with architectural studios that resell the products to their final customers.

Overall, it’s a good platform — we’re able to develop several projects simultaneously, share them with clients, and request feedback directly through the software.

Pros

the simple way we can present the pieces to clients. It also made it easier to manage values, such as the total project cost and profit margin. In addition, we found it very interesting how easily we can request quotations from suppliers and issue purchase orders.

Cons

the inability to share the purchase status with clients, the lack of invoice management when Stripe is not used, and the fact that when exporting the Schedule in PDF, the Status does not appear. It would be useful to have a purchase order including the client prices. The software also assumes that the trade discount is passed on to the client. Additionally, there is no project history.

It's been incredible to have a software program that "gets it". You can tell it's made by interior designers because it's so streamlined and aesthetic and practical.

Pros

I love the ease of use, the simplicity of having so many tools in one program, the customer service has been immediate and friendly and very helpful, the team is always taking suggestions for improvement and acting on them. The aesthetics of the program are great, it has only what I need and not a ton of options and menus that I don't. We love the ease of using the tasks.

Cons

The iPad and mobile formats need improvement- sometimes parts of pages are cut off or buttons are hidden in those views. We are waiting for more customization in terms of invoicing and branding, I believe that's coming soon.

Its really a time saver, especially the URL function - thats been a game changer. I also appreciate the on demand customer service, especially as me and my team learn the program.

Pros

Clean user interface, aesthetic. I used to use Gather which was clunky and not as refined. I appreciate the layout of the spec pages when they are printed too

Cons

Spec item pictures are small, would be good to have the option to view all specs as tiles or list, just like in the client interface

It has been very smooth since we started. Clients have been able to participate and interact in a way that is beautifully presented.

Pros

Easy to use and visually pleasant, with almost everything in one place. The time tracking feature and the option to manually add time have been very helpful. We often perform tasks outside the office, and it’s great to be able to track those as well.

Cons

It would be great to include a section dedicated to site visits and reports, covering visit expenses, report details, and a visual timeline showing the frequency and duration of visits. Additionally, it would be very useful to share these timelines with clients.

I really like how professional it makes the schedules look without having to edit it much. The chat function is fantastic and there is someone there always ready to help

australian based, easy to use and the url function in the schedules! It saves so much time. I also like how you can now add in Canva docs and give the client one portal to have all documents saved in.

Cons

when in the schedule, it takes a while to load and have to refresh as it wont fully load all items. also, when you enter in the trade price and retail price, it automatically enters the client price at the trade price.

I like how responsive the staff + customer support are. If I have any ideas or comments, they are always eager to listen. I am able to do most of my work on programa which is amazing

Cons

I wish there was an integration similar to the Shop Pay app where it tracks your order in real-time. If we were able to enter an order number or tracking number, it would be amazing if the status of the product were updated for us in real-time.

While it lacks client-onboarding tools like contracts and forms, its project management and purchasing workflow are efficient and reliable, making it an essential part of my daily operations.

Pros

Programa makes managing projects effortless. The item-selection process is clear and organized, and generating purchase orders directly from the platform is seamless. It minimizes errors and prevents costly vendor mistakes while keeping everything in one place.

Cons

It doesn’t handle client onboarding, which forces me to use multiple platforms. I still need other software for contracts, e-signatures, questionnaires, and onboarding forms before importing the project into Programa. Integrating those features would make it a true all-in-one solution.

Our overall experience has been great, the integrated background removal tool for the product schedule has been a nice touch to create a clean display for clients and our team.

Pros

What we like most about Programa is the accessibility of the software. Being able to have a client dashboard, and ease of use within the software is top tier.

Cons

Within Programa there are few functions that i wish would be incorporated such as a client chat section. It would be great to be able to converse with clients within their dashboards as well as make notes on products that alert the clients.

Very happy to be on board. Takes a little bit to shift into a new way of working, but the updates and online support makes it easier and well worth the migration.

Pros

Easy to use, the streamlined functionality and versatility the platform offers is so much greater than our previous manual systems. Increased productivity which is good for all. I also like how responsive the support team is, and welcoming of feedback to update and refine the process for all. Very positive experience for us.

Cons

Would prefer less branding on the emails to suppliers. I find the automated email from the schedule page to be heavily branded and think that would be better feeling more like an email from the design studio, supported by Programa rather than making Programa the hero. I do understand the need for advertising and getting your brand out there, and this would be the only thing that I think about in a less positive way. Might also be good to clarify inclusive or exclusive of GST on schedules.

This program is truly a time saver. I can not imagine going back to excel spreadsheet. I am very satisfied with this program. I just wish it was a little cheaper.

Pros

Programma is incredibly sufficient for building specifications and the customer support is very helpful. The team have supported my troubleshooting issues and guided me to use programma efficiently.

Cons

So many features that I still do not know how to use. I need to watch more of the tutorials to be able to use the program more efficiently

Programa is incredibly easy to use and has so many features that make my work much more efficient. Programa truly helps me to stay organized, on track and deliver things to clients on time.

Cons

The tools that Programa offers are very useful although you do need to take time to understand how to use them to their fullest potential. The learning curve is by no means steep, just time consuming if you want to get the most use out of the tools they offer.

I like Programa and I will keep using it. I am not very satisfied with the price for subscription that is why I have only one team member. Maybe having several packages would be nice as some features I never use (like invoices, taxes, purchases). But I like the Programa idea and that it is being updated all the time. Keeping everything in one place is very convenient. I have some suggestions like upgrading the timeline to Gant chart. Or making it more mobile friendly. But the overall experience is good. Thank you for your work!

Pros

Specifications. Ability to have access every time and share with a client. Tasks and timeline view.

Cons

I never use invoices as I don’t make purchases, all work is being done remotely with a client. I just give a project and a client continue implementing it. What I don’t like is that the website is not comfortable to view on the phone. Specifications are not editable on the phone. Very difficult to work with.

Pros

First the look & feel. The experience with the client The time I saved compared to when I worked on schedules in Excel.

Cons

It would be nice to be able to create folders in the client dashboard for the files we upload, for example: presentations, invoices, etc.
