Pros

There were tons go great features and abilities in the Salesforce software, you could note or track just about anything that you want.

Cons

Salesforce has programs specifically designed for companies that use it and I feel like there are many functions and features that could have been improved and perfected before customization.

Pros

When you connect all the different pieces of Salesforce software that are applicable to your organization, the results are astonishing. Having used other CRM and Marketing Softwares and having to integrate the two was far more difficult than using the various aspects of Salesforce. It is fantastic to have it all in once place. It connects easily to Google Suite apps and is overall easy to use for the technically inclined and after a little training your less technically inclined employees will have no problem with it.

Cons

For those that are not technically inclined, the learning curve can be difficult. The integration of a large business application can be extremely lucrative, however the kick starting period can be a turn off. For small businesses that have multiple solutions to the problems that Salesforce can solve, the transition period can be difficult to cope with.

Ultimately we are switching from Marketing Cloud because the price is too high for all the headaches and because we use a limited amount of the functionality anyway since we just need the email marketing component.

Pros

The email builder is very easy to use and the ability to specify a preheader was greatly appreciated.

Cons

Hard to pick what was worst - terrible customer service, despite paying for Premiere Support it often took days to get problems solved (and updates were constantly causing new problems), or the fact that the answer to every question was either no or an upsell.

Positive. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is and will be the cornerstone of our marketing plans going forward.

Pros

Data extensions and their flexibility. Do you want to create a list of subscribers from a landing page? Want to upload an email list from an external source? Want to create a catalog of your ecommerce products and call those in on a Cloudpage? Data extensions solve it all.

Cons

Layout clarity and user experience. It has gotten better, but integral functionality is still hidden in different buckets so that it's hard to find from the SFMC homepage.

Es realmente extensa la cantidad de features que tienen. Y al ser un ecosistema muy completo, poseen todo tipo de soluciones, para todos los aspectos del negocio.

Cons

La mismas features, son las que más dificultan el proceso de implementación, dado que, se tiene que analizar muy detalladamente el negocio, sus procesos y los involucrados.

Pros

I would love all the things it can do except the fact that it doesn't really work or integrate well.

Cons

Literally everything. It took months to setup and even then it wasn't setup the way we wanted it. Support was terrible. They even threatened us with the contract when we said we wanted out. They want long contracts because as with many things that need long contracts the program is actually barely functional. Seriously do yourself a favor and pick literally any other system.

It has all the basics... a knowledge base, support & ticketing, and forums/discussions. Does all these basic functions well and integrates with Salesforce CRM well.

Cons

Not nearly customizable enough. The styling out of the box is ugly and it's not easy to customize yourself.

Pros

Salesforce Marketing Cloud has some impressive features when integrated with Sales Cloud - in particular the ability to build complex automations based on customer attributes and changes to those attributes, and to add reporting about email activity directly into the CRM.

Cons

It takes too many steps to create and send a relatively straightforward email campaign - there's a significant learning curve, and a lot of things that can go wrong if you're working with an integrated instance with Sales Cloud. I'm also not impressed with the email template building capability; by default it's not simple to create good-looking emails. This feels like an old tool that was bolted onto Salesforce (which it was in some sense, given that it was acquired) and lacks the ease-of-use of other programs like Mailchimp.

All in all this solution has a long way to go before it's a good product. There are much better alternatives in the marketing automation space. I have faith in this solution long term because it is owned by Salesforce.com.

Pros

Features are good in concept. Support takes at most a day to get back to you on cases. Support can usually help you, but not always.

Cons

Documentation is poor and almost always not descriptive enough and outdated. The system itself is very buggy. The typical response from support is "Just start fresh" in regard to whatever you're working on. We have a Sales cloud integration which does not work well with Marketing cloud. The connector is antiquated and it's impossible to leverage synchronized data extensions in journeys and other marketing content.

Pick a good vendor, that is the crucial aspect of the roll out. With a bad vendor, the turnover is dangerous to your projects completion date and it's bottom line.

Pros

The whole baked out process is easy to understand and roll out, using the tool to manage email campaigns and other selling tools is a real revenue generator!

Cons

As with anything Salesforce, it looks good until you sign the contract, then you see all the hidden add-ons and expenses you need to get the tool actually doing what you want. Be prepared to spend more than they tell you!

I was against Salesforce at first but know I dont know how I worked without it.

Pros

SalesForce has allowed me access to run reports I never though of running. I now can keep track of what status every client is in in one place instead of going to three or four different places or relying on my agents to tell me where exactly their business is at. SalesForce has really been a game changer in that is has allowed me more time, and that is the one thing I really needed was time. A huge benefit with Salesforce also is almost every company knows how to integrate with Salesforce.

Cons

The only con I can think of with Salesforce would be the cost. Not the cost od Salesforce but the cost to get someone to fully develope it. If you are not tech savvy it can be expensive to hire someone. I think that is to be expected though

Tive que trabalhar na implantação do SalesForce no antiga empresa e achei todas as sua propriedades impressionantes, estavamos migrando de outro sistema para este, e me parecia uma evolução de 100 anos!

Cons

No começo parece que deixa a desejar por ser um pouco complexo de mexer, mas só aparente mesmo por que depois você começar a engrenhar e pegar o jeito e como esse sistema veio para revolucionar.

Pros

I am very happy with Marketing Cloud's new Content Builder, which is definitely an update from their Classic Content. Although my team is still learning the new builder, it already appears to be a lot more initiative and easy than Classic Content. I'm hoping it makes the experience of building and sending emails through Marketing Cloud an easier one.

Cons

I'd say that Marketing Cloud is fine, however very hard to navigate without training. Even for users who have experience on other email platforms, the interface for Marketing Cloud is neither intuitive nor are there any clear training resources for it. It's also largely insufficient without being connected to a Salesforce CRM. I also do not like the visual representation of their automation workflows.

It is easy to setup and fairly powerful. Salesforce provides industry leading security best practise, so the data is secure.

Pros

Salesforce Communities provides a portal for employees, customers and partners. A standard interface is available out of the box with basic UI configuration. For advanced user interface custom development can be used. Standard Salesforce objects are used as database.

Cons

It is a relatively expensive solution. For small organization budget can be an issue. However the advantage is that it is fairly easy to setup a basic version of Salesforce Communicities.
