### "Expensive but not worth it"

May 7, 2021

3.0

Disappointing. Don't waste your money, there are better tools out there.

Pros

This product poses itself as top of class, but that's only in pricing. It is complicated and not marketing friendly. The interface is not userfriendly and the tool does not support multiple brands without a heavy pricetag.

Cons

The price, the user experience, the lack of multibrand use. When I threatened to take my business elsewhere we had one call with the VP but then he stopped responding to calls and emails.

### " Incredible tool, make sure you have an infrastructure "

August 7, 2019

4.0

An incredible tool when an infrastructure is in place that will allow for collaboration between marketing and sales as well as support in place for the sales team so they don’t get bogged down with the administrative component. If you are a Manager then you will love these reports.

Pros

As a provider of digital marketing automation (email, social, ads) and analytics, is great when it comes to connecting the dots between what you know about customers and what marketing materials you should send to them. The Journey Building feature is incredible for this. This also allows you to set triggers and make intelligent automation decisions.

Cons

Make sure you have an infrastructure in place that will allow for the immense amount of data entry and data maintenance necessary to keep the CRM up-to-date and allow intelligent marketing insights and automation to even be possible. You don’t want to make marketing decisions based on an accurate CRM information.

### "A Very Complicated But Useful CRM Solution"

June 4, 2021

4.0

Pros

This platform is on the right track and an easy choice if you are a big Salesforce user. It is well integrated with Salesforce with amply bells and whistles to benefit advanced marketing automation and campaign management.

Cons

Requires a dedicated platform expert, and their tech support is lacking; too many tickets need escalation … and there are expensive upgrades and integrations.

### "Not user friendly, poor design"

April 9, 2020

1.0

Pros

The only good part about Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the fact that technically speaking, you can utilize complex workbooks and send information and targeted marketing campaigns to very specialized groups. However, that perk isn't worth the other struggles.

Cons

I wish I could limit the number of things I dislike about this software. The e-newsletter design function is nearly useless unless you can code HTML, and the preview emails you see never match what ends up in your inbox. Further, the e-newsletters don't cooperate with Outlook, which is frustrating since both are Microsoft products. Little changes (such as swapping a textbox and image) require creating a whole new section of the e-newsletter, rather than drag and drop functionality - which is what you get for many, more cost effective products. Creating email lists is also overly complicated, and I frequently get errors for things the program should be able to sort out - such as having several lines of text rejected because of an extra space following an email. For its cost, I should not have to cull through a thousand-email-long spreadsheet seeking out extra spaces.

### "Lots of options, hard to find the one you need"

May 1, 2018

3.0

Pros

Salesforce is a powerful CRM tool that is widely used in a variety of industries. It has a lot of features and integrates with many other types of software.

Cons

Data entry can be cumbersome. The system is not intuitive and neither is the layout of screens, though some of that can be customized. When it comes to running reports, there are a lot of pre-built ones, but most of those aren't useful. I usually find myself having to build my own, and that process is cumbersome and not at all intuitive. There are many different types of reports and it's hard to find the one needed to get the data that I seek. Also, it does not do a great job of tracking contacts who are associated with multiple accounts (such as a representative of multiple companies), and there is not a way to show affiliations between multiple accounts (such as divisions of a large company).

### "Great looking front end (journey builder) with a whole bag of issues in the back"

February 24, 2023

3.0

Pros

\-Journey builder looks easy and very visual -Robust and comprehensive marketing automation features-Extensive integrations with other Salesforce products-Customizable dashboards and reporting for personalized insights-Multi-channel communication capabilities for seamless customer engagement

Cons

\-due to the nature of the fact that each module is separate and build differently what seems like a beautiful vision (journey builder) is far from the road to get to it. - the tool is very expensive -Deployment can be slow and complicated, requiring technical expertise-High implementation costs that may not be feasible for small businesses-User interface can feel clunky and overwhelming for beginners-Limited customer support options outside of online resources

### "A mess if you need multiple fronts"

March 5, 2018

2.0

Pros

Article management is robust, and allows for a lot of fine control on whats displayed, in both a wysiwyg editor, and jumping into the underlying HTML. Visual editor makes putting together the pages themselves very easy

Cons

Segmenting off articles between an internal and external is difficult to impossible. Any support issues go through India based agents, who constantly want phone calls and screenshares, and dont seem to know the product that well.

### "Administração de contas WhatsApp"

July 29, 2023

3.0

Atendimento no WhatsApp, pós venda.

### "Needs work, but very helpful!"

April 3, 2024

Cons

I felt that some features were not user-friendly and not necessarily conducive to the purpose of the product. Training staff was a bit of a hassle.

### "Gets the job done, but with minimal user experience"

January 31, 2022

3.0

It gets the job done with email, but the reporting is less than ideal and there is not a good level of customization available within the email builders.

Pros

Once you get used to it, it is an easy to use platform. Tracking is laid out in an easy to digest way. Spam blockers are efficient.

Cons

At-a-glance reporting is not as robust as in other platforms. Things like spam by email, which is essential to track, needs a custom report built rather than it being available with all other tracking. There are also a lot of nuances within the emails and the way they render for email platforms, like Outlook. For example, links do not show as bold.

### "Utilitarian but outdated UI"

March 5, 2018

4.0

Easy email marketing and list/preference center management.

Pros

Once users get up to speed, it's a very easy UI to master and accomplish email marketing tasks quickly. Good list management and customizability, along with reporting.

Cons

The UI is quite outdated, and the workflows are very intuitive -easy to get up to speed on, but it does require an "expert" on the team to help you onboard to how the business uses the software, as it's pretty free-form.

### "Salesforce Marketing cloud review"

Overall I love the product

Pros

SFMC provides ability to segment the lists through automation studio and it really helps to slice and dice the data. Auidence builder and contact builder also helps to unleash a lot of marketing power

Cons

It is a highly technical product so most of the marketing people find it hard to use. Salesforce customer support also is not ideal

### "Excellent platform for a marketing agency"

December 1, 2022

5.0

Our team has long used Salesforce to capture and nurture new leads. After the sale, we track client milestones and tasks as well as client engagement.

Pros

This software has proven to be the most valuable marketing and communications tool for our agency for many years. Salesforce is clearly the industry leader for a reason.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve with customizations, but once your operation is set up, it makes everyone more efficient.

### "Muy satisfactorio"

September 22, 2022

5.0

Pros

### "Salesforce is Still King of the Hill, even in Marketing"

October 1, 2015

5.0

Salesforce is the central repository for our business. All of our user activities like signups, payment history, the apps they have used and when, our marketing communications, our presentation collateral, and our customer support....all lie within the Salesforce cloud. It is the key to our customer facing business, and the Marketing Cloud is just one more piece to the puzzle.

Pros

Marketing Automation is hugely important to any business looking to scale their user base. SFDC's Marketing Cloud allows all communications that go to customers to be tracked, seamlessly within your overall SFDC instance. Campaigns to different groups are a cinch to setup. They have a nice, graphic UI for overall management, much better than the core SFDC stuff, for sure. Overall, this is a great tool to add to your company toolkit.

Cons

Maybe I am in the minority, but just about anything in Salesforce takes a little bit more time to learn than it seems like it should. Their UI is a touch clunky, and it certainly could use more design.

### "Marketing Cloud"

March 18, 2022

4.0

Pros

The best feature about Marketing Cloud is Journey Builder - this allows us to automatically schedule sends, conduct A/B testing and it provides overall metrics for your email sends. There is also an immense amount of documentation on the product which makes troubleshooting eassy.

Cons

Certifications aren't very easy to get and how they conduct the tests aren't the best. You're monitored through your webcam for the duration of the exam and the questions seem like they're intentionally trying to trip you up.

### "A heavy hitter, but work to be done in UX"

January 10, 2018

4.0

Despite being somewhat clumsy in real-world use, Marketing Cloud is a powerful, high quality suite for those looking to pursue robust, personalized digital campaigns.

Pros

This is an outstanding product for 1:1 engagement with an existing audience. We're still somewhat new to it, but are quickly coming up to speed. Best modules are open APIs, Journey Builder (basically pulls the entire suite together to build repeatable workflows), Audience builder (works hand/glove with Journey Builder), and Mobile Studio. It will take time for us to gather enough behavior and other attribute values to really put this to work. But it has plenty of horsepower and data tools and really get us to advanced personalization and performance analysis.

Cons

The suite is a set of modules cobbled together via the original product (ExactTarget) and new apps purchased by SFDC (e.g., Social Studio, which as Radian 6). This makes it cumbersome to assemble an entire campaign because you're constantly pinging back and forth through different modules (via a tabbed interface) to get things done. It's probably too late now for a truly unified, campaign-based UI, so it will have to do.

### "Powerful but a lot of limitations"

February 7, 2019

3.0

SF is such a giant in their products. Their products have a wide range of powerful features but a lot of features also come with their limitations. Their customer support is horrible - they are good at staying on top of your payment due but very slow in responding to your other needs!

Pros

Features - it provides powerful features, such as searchable database, knowledge base, forms of contact that can tie to service cloud, etc.

Cons

Preset data fields can be the limitations because you can't change those preset data fields' labels, thus it may not make sense sometimes for each client's needs.

### "Nice, but not perfect"

February 1, 2019

3.0

Pros

There are tons of features that can be enabled with this software. As long as your SF Architect/Developers know what they're doing, the sky is the limit.

Cons

At times the UI/UX can be buggy and hard to read. Also, inputting data can be a hassle without an auto-save feature. If you take too long inputting data and your connection timesout, you have to start all over again.

### "Complete Platform for growing Marketing needs. Empower you to make right decisions! "

April 19, 2019

4.0

I am very happy using salesforce marketing cloud and have been using for years now. We are able to manage all our marketing effort in a more efficient and discipline manner and support our sales team throughout the sales cycle. It's difficult to justify ROI on marketing, but with salesforce marketing cloud we are able to justify our spends on various campaigns since they are yielding high results.

Pros

Analytics that you can drill down related to any specific activity (open rate, click ratio, engagements). You can manage all your marketing programs from various channel under the same platform.

Cons

It needs a little learning before you start using it in a efficient manner. UI can be a little more friendly to all the users. Importing/ exporting files can sometimes get corrupted. Having said, it's the best in its space.
