The system has been invaluable through the pandemic. Pros Sedex allows us to take a measured approach to our supply chain compliance, ensuring we are aware of potential issues and risk associated across our suppliers. Using the basis of continual improvement, Sedex ensures our energy is concentrated where needed to ensure ethical and social compliance targets are met across the board. Cons The original platform is difficult to navigate at first, without regular use finding certain functions can be difficult. As the software has developed a lot of these areas are being resovled, however the requirement to clear cookies and hard refresh is still needed for some menu's to work. Reasons for choosing Sedex Requirement to meet customer's ethical policy - we joined as instructed but quickly realised the potential the system had for our own ESG systems.
