Have been able to tailor the system to the process for each specific agency. Pros Specific to how government agencies recruit for jobs, upgrades to improve product and great service. From the project managers to our account manager, NeoGov has been there to answer our questions and make our experience a positive one. Pros Data Management, recruitment process, user interface, value for money. It is easy for our employees to use. Love the ease of the recruitment process. We use Onboarding and eforms for all our employee benefit enrollments. Cons Does not interface with other products such as Tyler to upload copies of paychecks and W-2s. September 29, 2025 3.0 I’m a novice and I’m just getting started. So I have a lot to learn, but I am hopeful that we will begin maximizing our efficiency with additional service services and products. Pros This conference! What a fun time! T the staff are stupendous! I’ve met so many people that are going to be helpful on my journey! Cons The on boarding portal task list seem to get deadlines wrong and I don’t know how to fix it because I’m not currently an administrator. But it always tells my new hires that their paperwork is due sometimes on their second day and I think it is feeding off of when the task list got started preemployment instead of from day one. Going from paper applications to insight gave me so much time back, and supervisors being able to review applications as they come in makes our recruitments so much more efficient! Cons Learning how to use it and going through all of the implementation training was rough, but mostly because I’m impatient and wanted to jump right into the products. Cons The sheer amount of options and screens. At times it can be overwhelming but I know all necessary to make the product as good as it is. Great staff too. Pros The customer support is great. Everyone I’ve encountered here is wonderful. I find the user interface very intuitive. Cons Sometimes workflows don’t make sense. I also don’t like you can’t update a survey in learn if people already registered. Pros The NEOGOV suite of products is so expansive that there is a use for everything. As budgets are constrained, it is easier to add technology to make our work more efficient. Cons Honestly nothing. The products, the support, everything is great. They are always very responsive to any questions and have product updates to support our work environment and changes. If there are any questions, they are helpful. I witless like to see some more customizable options, especially with eForms and recruitment options for executive level positions. Pros Onboard is my favorite product due to being able to create a consistent onboarding process and forms to include teaining for all new employees or specific groups of employees based on the specific checklist. Both platforms are user-friendly and easy to navigate, which allowed me to get up to speed quickly in my new role. I’ve been able to set up classes, search for information, and complete tasks with ease. The customer service support has also been excellent and responsive. I’d love to see even more courses added to the catalog and updated content to continue enhancing the learning experience. Pros I use Learn daily and have found it to be very user-friendly. Although I’ve been using it for less than a year, the intuitive system navigation has allowed me to hit the ground running in my new role. Setting up classes and conducting searches has been seamless. I also use Perform and have had a similarly smooth experience. Additionally, I really appreciate the 800 customer service support it’s been incredibly helpful Cons I would love to see more courses added to the catalog along with regularly updated content to keep learning fresh and relevant. Fingers crossed one day we get time and attendance and HRIS. Pros Love Perform and excited about onboarding. It’s saved a mass amount of paper and time. If only all our employees would come around and lean in. Cons You have these amazing products but don’t share their potential. I would give them a definitely four out of five stars based on the fact that you have a lot more to offer and a one stop shop. Pros The overall simplicity of the recruiting process for the most part and the fact that a lot of other agencies use NeoGov makes it a good connection. Cons The constant changes and updates that we are not really provided a heads up. Specifically talking about barred from applying it used to be a lot more noticeable, and they have changed that area and has made it difficult to use. Review Source JH Jason H. It would have been better if the NeoGov project manager would have called out the red flags for initial deployment. Pros Package products. Seamless transitions between applications such as perform, time and attendance and HR. Cons Errors and issues. We had a rough deployment that had numerous errors. The neogov products team does an excellent job at keeping customers informed of changes and what is to come on the roadmap. They also take your feedback and implement changes when needed. Onboard has been great and saves a lot of time. Cons The process builder in eforms is a smidge difficult at times.
