I am currently training and learning the software and so far it has been very user friendly.

Cons

The software is user friendly. I only began the training process about one month ago and I have not encountered any issues that have not been resolved quickly with the help of the implementation specialist.

Overall, it works fine and does most of what we need but posting a job can be cumbersome. It's not as straightforward as you would think. Also, copying a posting is not as easy as it could be to re-post the same job.

Pros

it's easy to view and look things up has decent reporting capabilities

it's not straight forward in posting jobs it takes a long time to copy an existing post

Very easy to use as it connects you easily. Gives you the room to maneuver. Easy to connect to the net

It sometimes has compatibility issues. Manuals for use is not sufficient. Could be improved with ease buttons

Employee info is stored securely. And payroll info will now be added.

I do not find it easy to navigate....you can easily make errors if you dont follow the manual line by line

The best part of the software is -- it supports Oracle standard version, which saves us must more supported expense.

Cons

Hopefully it will support Tomcat in the future. It's much easier for DBA to maintain Tomcat application servers.

The reporting part is very neat and easy. They provided a test environment which helps us practice and learn more before making any payroll changes in the actual real environment.

Cons

Some training is required. Sometimes, the timesheet is not able to pick up the vacation cash-outs that employees input.

I have worked with many companies with implementation, and I was impressed by the assistance and setup NeoGOV had for working with their API. Great job and support! They made my job so much easier. The only thing lacking was an ERD with how each section linked together.

Cons

It would be nice to see an ERD or document with the API information.

Very little. Very complicated to work with and service is spotty.

Cons

Again, I think the program needs a lot of work and simplifying. I have used other programs such as PeopleSoft and found them much easier and more comprehensive. This is a very labor intensive system.

So this is purely a review from the hiring perspective. It is not too intuitive on how to get around in the main system but once you find your records, it is great, well organized, and provides sufficient data to make strong decisions. The tracking features to keep track of applicants are especially useful when dealing with high volumes of applications.

Ability to search for government jobs from a variety of job levels. The search engine makes it so you can really narrow down your criteria.

Cons

Nothing to report. I like how you see a detailed description of the job you are applying for. It is easy to navigate.
