2 years and an admin - it’s soooo much easier to track and move applicants and I appreciate the scheduling feature!

Pros

How the entire recruitment can be done in it!

Cons

Some of the settings make it hard when hiring managers are not involved in the traditional way

I love the responsiveness to the needs of the customer. I like that it can be purchased in segments so we arebt wasting money on what we wont use.

Cons

I wish there was better employee tracking without the full HRIS. Things that track employee demographics, promotions, salaries, etc.

We’ve crafted the system to work for our process. Onboarding has really simples our previously manual process.

Pros

Application submissions; ability to update recruitment status providing transparency with applicants; ability to hire multiple positions under one exam plan; onboard.

Cons

Analytics. A lot of movement to get to the next step or screen.

Over two agencies: overall very good. used very differently at each agency.

Pros

convenience, having information in one place, ease of use for the candidate.

Cons

training is high level and broad. so if you weren’t part of the agency’s implementation you are on your own to figure out how the product is being used

It has vastly improved in the last 2 years, both in terms of functionality/improvements and customer support.

Pros

Y’all implement features that are really helpful (goal alignment, new hire feed, etc)

Cons

Sometimes the functionalities don’t seem to work consistently. For example, we’ve run into issues with Candidate Texting after implementation - where text templates don’t work properly when prompting before the referred list. Customer support is kind but many times the depth of the tickets can’t be met which causes long delays in resolving issues

Integration with background check companies, analytics, and great customer service.

Can be unintuitive to trouble shoot errors at times, requiring our team to keep notes on how to fix issues.

Cons

Software not stable updates Unreliable and breaks things that NG may not know until user reports, and some of the issues don’t get solved from the root level. Can be very frustrating for the users.

Integrations arent REALLY integrations. That could use some work. Getting courses in & iut of LEARN can be cumbersome

Did? It's a product that single handedly revolutionized public sector recruiting.

Cons

The lack of ability to fully format to an agency's preferences. Particularly, true formatting of notifications. Also, though an out of date notion, real user's manual.

It's been great. The navigation of the system is great. Allows me to have lots of windows open to navigate thru all the reports and requisitions

The easy to use. The drop downs and selection process is great.

Cons

All the reports that are ready and easy to get, makes more work for me, in a great way. So not really a con!

Pros

One stop shop for all HR needs! It helps HR by eliminating redundant and tedious work and just by streamlining it.

Cons

Some features need to be worked on and some glitches, unnecessary bugs or actions need to be worked on.

It is mediocur. There are a lot of glitches and issues we run into in NYS. The system does not have a work around for the requirements the NYS Civil Service are required to track.

Pros

These ease for our applicants to apply. Setting up our job postings is a breeze.

Cons

Everything we need to track in is hidden and hard to find. When I run a report I do not get the correct information.

I like the Insight/OHC sides of the platform that my organization uses. Works perfectly for what we need & great customer support when help is needed.

Pros

Great customer support, tons of trainings offered, fantastic & informative conference!

Cons

The platform can be very layered/tough to learn at first. OHC/Insight resource guide downloads need to be updated.

This has been positive overall but I am confident improvements are regular and consistent.

Pros

It’s user friendly for regular analysts, there are many features that you can turn in or off for customization and the company is always listening to customers about improvements.

Cons

Sometimes there are very confusing glitches for example moving in to the next candidate and it’s someone not next and sometimes the applicant counts are wrong after a long day of screening.
