December 13, 2022 5.0 Pros Nice analytics tool for us to track visits without using cookies. The APi works well and we use it to implement it in our dashboard. Cons The dashboard websites overview page could you a list option with more basis metrics, but since we use this in our own custom dashboard with the API, we don't use the Simple Analytics dashboard that much. They recently gave me a pleasant surprise I was not expecting when they notified me about an issue with the upcoming expiration of my SSL certificate. Pros Their approach and philosophy toward privacy. I was looking for a solution to replace Google Analytics on 6 different websites running WordPress and Ghost. I came across Simple Analytics thanks to Leave me Alone (a service to unsubscribe from unwanted emails) and I liked the interface and their philosophy. The integration was easy, they have an official plugin for WordPress, and for Ghost it is a few lines of code to add. The domain verification was easy and their starter plan is perfect for the business websites of my family and my personal ones. I like that they also have a browser plugin to exclude your own visits. The app, although simple is good for quickly checking your stats on the go. Cons The lack of funnel analysis. However, after looking at the documentation, I understood that I had to implement events so that I can create conversion rate funnels but I have not had time to do it yet. Review Source Iron B. Simple Analytics is just that. They provide us with all the data we need while preserving the privacy of our users. Very happy customer! May 23, 2022 5.0 Pros Very nice to get insights in my website statistics, without "sponsoring" Google or Facebook or providing them with info about users. Besides that it saves a lot of time from staring at those GA stats. I have a professional view on my work, the content of my site is the most important thing to get visitors. Since I left Google Analytics and deleted Facebook, my website is still visited very good and I feel I have not lost any visitors. And no boring cookie message anymore! Cons No cons so far. Pros It's Simple. It's good to have raw data of the visits in the website and easy to implement the tracker/events. Also, is really fast to adapt for those who already used Google Analyitcs or similar. Cons Data Visualization isn't that good, we need to export to looker studio to "consume" data as we like. Pros As a developer creating software on the side of my normal job, it's important to me that I can see how users are using my site. However I don't want to sell out my users for the sake of a few graphs. Simple Analytics bridges that gap: a good product that I pay a little money for and it aligns all the incentives nicely. So far very happy with them. Cons It's not free. If you're looking for free, this isn't it, but I prefer it that way so they're incentivized to serve me, not their own interests. I love the simple UI that is a welcome break from other analytics tools. Helps me to speed through my tasks without having to deep dive into docs. It's also really easy to develop locally using dev only scripts and overwriting the domain name. These features are very important to me in my day to day work. Cons One feature that is missing that would be useful to my job is more visitor data types that can be added to the dashboard. For example: the screen dimensions of visitors.
