" April 30, 2026 5.0 My overall experience with Foxit PDF Editor is a positive one, I use it weekly for simple edits and signing. I have had no issues with document sizes meaning I can quickly upload pdfs of any size and edit. I can then easily download my edited files. Pros Foxit PDF Editor makes editing pdf easy, quick and simple. I use it often to redact pdfs, add comments and notes, and share. The legally binding signing features which include electronic signatures and digital signatures is a very useful feature which we use frequently. This speeds up getting important documents signed by the right people, such as bank documents. It is easy to use and does not require a steep learning curve. Cons Foxit PDF editor requires certain subscription levels to access advanced features and for multiple logins. I would recommend researching what level you require. Foxit PDF Editor does have 24/7 customer service, but this is available through a call, a chat function would be helpful. Review Source Zafar A. Cons Tools of PDF editor are some times too much and you can be a bit lost without direct navigation. Foxit is unconcerned that some glitch with my account using their "free trial" will not allow the purchased software to work. DON'T PAY FOR THIS UNTIL IT WORK ON YOUR COMPUTER. Pros After a putatively free trial, I purchased Foxit PDF Editor. The Company sent me a link to download the exe file. IT DOES NOT WORK. Foxit is evidently unconcerned that my FOXIT EDITOR DOES NOT WORK. I have sent repeated emails, calls, etc to get this addressed and they can't be bothered. Cons IT DOES NOT WORK. I purchased the software. FOXIT has been uninterested to get the software working on my computer. August 6, 2021 5.0 Pros I use this software everyday to scan all of our paperwork in (invoices, Liens, statements, receipts, etc.) and save them as pdf files in our system for future viewing. We started using this to eliminate paper files. You can scan in multiple pages at a time and then organize and separate them into individual files and this is so simply done. I also use it frequently to covert files like Word files into pdf files and this can be done with one click of a button. You can easily add comment to any file and the DocuSign is one of my favorite features. You can sign any document electronically and email it back to someone. I use this every week when I send out Liens that need to signed. Absolutely love this program! Cons I can't really find anything bad to say about Foxit Phantom PDF, I love it and it is the most simplest program to use. If I had too, I guess I would just say that I wish you didn't have to pay to use it! Pros Feature packed, does almost anything with PDFs. The UI is generally clear and understandable. Cons The price. Foxit should know that LibreOffice draw does 90% of the pdf editing you really need for free, even difficult stuff like text replacing and text flow. Foxit came pre-installed on several Dell laptops I bought for my company, so the license included allowed me to test drive the software without buying it separately. Foxit is a good choice if you don't want to subscribe long-term to Acrobat or other bigger-name PDF software. Pros Foxit does a great job with documents that have many pages because it allows you to move them around in a visual interface. Foxit will encrypt and password protect files. It allows you to sign the document either with a JPG of your signature or with a digital certificate. It is feature rich. Cons The interface is not always user friendly. The menu structure for some tool is mostly good, but some features are in menus where I would not expect them to be.
