Pros

WE have a full corporate account with Statista. Database is extensive but most of the data they sell is already available for free online

Cons

They would renew your contract and auto-issue an invoice without intimation. they have an arm-twisting way of getting the contract renewed by making you sign auto renew contracts. ALL credible subscriptions globally send you an intimation and give you an opportunity to reconsider.

Pros

There is a lot of high-quality data. Nice (if simple) visualization

Cons

I encountered some data that was completely off (market size, market shares etc.). The search could also be better. More types of visualizations would be great too.

Not good. I paid for an annual subscription for a few graphs and then the company auto -renewed me for an additional year. Expensive to say the least. No notice on auto-renew. Very clear that they are not interested in customer service but rather stiffing the customer as much as they can before you leave.

Pros

Clear graphs and information but obviously not customized to what you need. Overall horrible value.

Cons

Very pricey and hidden charges. Customer service was very poor.

Very few reports have valuable information but overall its very bad

Cons

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Statista. Despite paying for their services, I was unable to find any valuable reports that met my needs. The figures provided were uninformative and failed to offer any meaningful insights. Additionally, I rarely came across the specific reports I required, and despite contacting the Statista team multiple times, they were unresponsive and showed a lack of consideration for my requests. This level of disregard for their customers is highly disappointing and unacceptable.

Easy to use, handy for accurate and accountable and accurate data.

Pros

Needed it for research problems and it helped provide information that I needed. Moreover, the ability for it to show any demographic is quite helpful.

Cons

Sometimes did not provide information needed for my research proposals. Can be hard to navigate very specific target segments in Canada.
