VP Computer Hardware Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Jungle Scout Ruined our Amazon Seller Rating" April 7, 2026 1.0 I wanted to share our recent experience with Jungle Scout regarding their Amazon seller review request settings. We previously had our requests configured for 30 days post-purchase, which allowed our customer service team enough time to resolve any issues. This resulted in a feedback rating of over 90%. However, Jungle Scout recently changed this setting to 5 days without notification, moving the ability to customize that delay behind a $129/month subscription upgrade. As a result of this change, our Amazon review ratings dropped to approximately 70% over a four-month period before we identified the cause. Due to these practices, we have decided to stop using Jungle Scout entirely. We have since switched to FeedbackFive by eComEngine, which offers better features and lower costs for time-delayed feedback requests. Given our experience, we can no longer recommend Jungle Scout. Pros The time delayed Amazon seller review requests was the reason we signed up for Jungle Scount when it worked. Ecommerce Retail Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Very good value for money" January 14, 2025 5.0 My general experience is good, I understand the interface well, it is a help that I can put it in my language, Spanish, and also the searches carried out and the market study have borne fruit and work for me. Also the listing building tool is a help to review my listings. Keyword Scout is very good, I really like this function and it is very comfortable to analyze and easy to see and intuitive too. The sales analysis section seems good, I've been looking at it recently and it seems to be a great help too. The extension is very convenient and easy to use at a glance. I can say that I am happy in general. I would just love to see the pet category analyzed, it's really important because it's a big sales category. Pros I really like the customer support they have, they are always quick to respond, and they also always offer solutions to problems that arise. As for the Jungle Scout interface, I find it intuitive and easy to use. Once you get the hang of it, you can move through the different screens to do your work, understanding the process well. I also like that since I started more than two years ago, things have been updated and it is more modern and has more functions than when I started, something very valuable for my business. Cons I don't like Jungle because I can't analyze the Pets category, which has a lot of potential, and I can't use the opportunity search engine or use the extension on Amazon, because it doesn't provide data. This is a major flaw for me, since at the same time Not having this large sales section, I cannot analyze the pet niche market. I also don't like that I can't do searches in all the countries of the European Union, which is the market in which I am going to expand my business. Those two bugs I mention are the important bugs I see in JungleScout Alternatives considered [Helium 10](https://www.capterra.com/p/193503/Helium10/) Reason for choosing Jungle Scout At the beginning of my venture because of the price, later I continued with Jungle because the price is half that of HELIUM10 and it gives me good results and I am happy with the service that has been provided to me so far. Because when i first heard how it works in the academy I was like "no way, that's going to help a TON", and it just ended up not helping that much, actually my first product that I am trying to get right now, I just went to alibaba to find it, even though I tried really really hard not to visit that website and only use this tool since I payed for it and wanted my money's-worth, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do i suppose.Every support ticket I have entered has been really helpful except for one that the guy clearly didn't read my support ticket, he like answered questions that had the same keywords as my questions, but it's like he took the keywords and told chatgpt to make a random question with them, and then answered those. But other than that, super super super helpful stuff.Overall, pretty great, probably going to continue my subscription as well, keep up the great work fellas. Pros I liked how easy the academy lessons were to follow along with, and they used real terms that normal people, who literally have no clue what the hell they are doing (myself) can actually follow. It's really a nice change of pace, because there are plenty of extremely well-made, clear, tutorials for selling on amazon out there, but these just click better for whatever reason. Cons When I heard "Jungle Scout has a product research tool that tells you how many people are selling a certain product", me, as a person who knew nothing about anything whatsoever thought "oh good, they can tell me how many people are selling chair cushions", or they can tell me "how many people are selling computer mouses". Well no, it can tell you how many people are selling "Computer mouse 5GA21BV" under the same buy box. Now that i'm a tiny bit more experienced, I see why this probably wouldn't be possible, but to me, I think it could be better relayed to a potential customer that like "hey we can't tell you how many people are trying to sell this type of product in the market, we can only tell you how many people are trying to sell a super specific item within that market, and not only that, if there happens to be multiple different listings for the exact same product, your just going to have to find that out later because the tool actually doesn't help with that a ton unless you just happen to scroll past that too, which you probably wont because you have your product database listing as minimum 300 orders, and 3 extra listings of the exact same product have 299".Again, i'm not saying your tool isn't great, it really is, or even that you could be doing more, because with the tiny bit of experience I do have, I see how that could be pretty dang difficult to make something like that, if even possible at all, but I had to google how to find products on amazon a differentway Alternatives considered [Helium 10](https://www.capterra.com/p/193503/Helium10/) Reason for choosing Jungle Scout 100% honestly I saw a post that said "There's a reason everyone compares tools to junglescout". VR Verified Reviewer CEO Retail Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Helpful but do not rely on it exclusively" April 12, 2024 4.0 My opinion is not a good reference because I'm a small seller now, but maybe my opinion will change when revenue will grow substantially and give me the opportunity to use the tool at its maximum. Pros Powerful it helps in decision making related to product research and/or SEO. If you manage well the features you can find good selling product with high potential. The options help you to optimize your listing. The academy is very good as well, you can learn valuable things. Cons It's absolutely not a miracle product, you have to do the job upfront to have real accurate data (I'm only speaking for EU market). It seems like the EU data is outdated or overestimate revenues. You have to play with the filters to get something really interesting from it. Same for the SEO, it can cost you a lot of money on ads if you do not pay attention but you only learn it after you made the mistake. Overall JS usability is simple but not easy, require patience more than practice. The price is high even if JS replace virtually multiple software in one main software (the price price point is based on this idea of multiple tools in one SaaS). It’s one of my go-to tools for product and keyword research abd the first supplier database a check when looking for a manufacturer Pros What I like most about Jungle Scout is that it's an all-in-one tool. Doesn't just offer one specific feature but covers the entire process necessary for success on the platform for begginers or for experts. From product research to supplier database to competitor analysis, inventory management, ad campaigns stats and much more. The best part is that all of this is backed by highly accurate data (Accusales) and automation that saves a lot of time. The last additions to the tool (AI based) are one step ahead of the competitors. The insights tool and the AI assist chat helping you grow your account are making a big difference on the market Cons While Jungle Scout is a powerful tool, there are a few areas where I see room for improvement. For example, the review request automation tool is useful, but it lacks advanced configuration (type fo fulfillment, avorage order value, type of customer, etc) Another feature that could be improved (and actually, on every tool offering the same feature) is AI-generated product listings. Pros JungleScout has helped us go from $0 in sales to $2M in annual sales. I'm not saying we "couldn't" have done it without their tools, but it would certainly have required a lot more work. It is an absolute game changing product. Cons There's a lot of ongoing development (all good stuff), but you need to stay on top of the new developments which requires a fair amount of exploring.
