VP Computer Hardware Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Jungle Scout Ruined our Amazon Seller Rating" April 7, 2026 1.0 I wanted to share our recent experience with Jungle Scout regarding their Amazon seller review request settings. We previously had our requests configured for 30 days post-purchase, which allowed our customer service team enough time to resolve any issues. This resulted in a feedback rating of over 90%. However, Jungle Scout recently changed this setting to 5 days without notification, moving the ability to customize that delay behind a $129/month subscription upgrade. As a result of this change, our Amazon review ratings dropped to approximately 70% over a four-month period before we identified the cause. Due to these practices, we have decided to stop using Jungle Scout entirely. We have since switched to FeedbackFive by eComEngine, which offers better features and lower costs for time-delayed feedback requests. Given our experience, we can no longer recommend Jungle Scout. Pros The time delayed Amazon seller review requests was the reason we signed up for Jungle Scount when it worked. Their course has been extremely helpful, the free content on YouTube is brilliant and very informative and the MDCS is a great case study as that was the first time I understood the process and challenges of selling on Amazon. Their Catalyst tool has also been a great help to me and helped me to find my product and was brilliant when I was building my listing. Pros Out of all the people and companies that provide tutorials on how to sell on Amazon, Jungle Scout is by far the best. Their Academy is brilliant and I followed their lessons and was able to launch my product recently on UK Amazon. I also found their style of teaching to be very clear and concise. I've emailed the support team a couple of times and they've responded quickly and were helpful both times. Cons Their tool is expensive. Although it is a brilliant tool, as a seller on Amazon who is spending a lot of money to be able to sell, the extra cost of Jungle Scout really adds up. The data is presented in easy to view format. Cons Information and data are not up to date for India region. The sales figures did not match with what Amazon had mentioned on its website nor the same matched for our own products. Also the listing building tool is a help to review my listings. Keyword Scout is very good, I really like this function and it is very comfortable to analyze and easy to see and intuitive too. The sales analysis section seems good, I've been looking at it recently and it seems to be a great help too. The extension is very convenient and easy to use at a glance. I can say that I am happy in general. I would just love to see the pet category analyzed, it's really important because it's a big sales category. Pros I really like the customer support they have, they are always quick to respond, and they also always offer solutions to problems that arise. As for the Jungle Scout interface, I find it intuitive and easy to use. Once you get the hang of it, you can move through the different screens to do your work, understanding the process well. I also like that since I started more than two years ago, things have been updated and it is more modern and has more functions than when I started, something very valuable for my business. Cons I don't like Jungle because I can't analyze the Pets category, which has a lot of potential, and I can't use the opportunity search engine or use the extension on Amazon, because it doesn't provide data. This is a major flaw for me, since at the same time Not having this large sales section, I cannot analyze the pet niche market. I also don't like that I can't do searches in all the countries of the European Union, which is the market in which I am going to expand my business. Those two bugs I mention are the important bugs I see in JungleScout Alternatives considered [Helium 10](https://www.capterra.com/p/193503/Helium10/) Reason for choosing Jungle Scout At the beginning of my venture because of the price, later I continued with Jungle because the price is half that of HELIUM10 and it gives me good results and I am happy with the service that has been provided to me so far. Doesn't just offer one specific feature but covers the entire process necessary for success on the platform for begginers or for experts. From product research to supplier database to competitor analysis, inventory management, ad campaigns stats and much more. The best part is that all of this is backed by highly accurate data (Accusales) and automation that saves a lot of time. The last additions to the tool (AI based) are one step ahead of the competitors. The insights tool and the AI assist chat helping you grow your account are making a big difference on the market Cons While Jungle Scout is a powerful tool, there are a few areas where I see room for improvement.
