However, I expected more from a tool at that price point. I have to also mention that I focused only on the product research features and not the other JS features; so my exposure to the tool was somewhat limited. Pros I particularly appreciated JS’ ease of use. The options/filters were easy to understand and use. Cons The filters were not advanced enough for me, compared to Helium10. Reason for choosing Jungle Scout Jungle Scout seemed to be the most popular alternative, in the Canadian marketplace. Company Owner Retail Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Do not trust this company" November 10, 2022 1.0 I signed up since i wanted to test some features i do not find on Helium 10. However, i wasn't impressed so i canceled my 7-day free trial after just 3 days. First, you won't get your money back right away, you need to email the company for the refund which i did and they did refund the money after about a week.Two months later i noticed that i was still getting charged MONTHLY. I tried signing in and it showed i have no active subscription. I contacted the customer support via email and their only response was ' you didn't cancel your subscription 24 hours in advance'. What? In the email they also provided a link to rate the experience with customer support but that link was invalid. i also looked up a contact phone number ( which is by the way nowhere to be found on their website). It was the headquarters' number. I tried calling at least 15 times and every time same answer "we aren't able to take your call, please contact us via email". Pros They do have some good features, and i liked the free trial option ( until i realized it was a scam). Cons Non-existent customer service support. There's no live char or a number that you can call;they barely respond to the emails, and when they do, the responses are generated and won't help you in any way.The free trial is a BIG scam. It's helped me learn eCommerce terminology, the importance of reviews/email marketing, and how to run an online business in an organized fashion. Pros I like that I am able to explore a ton of data from other products on Amazon. This helps so much with product research not only for selling on Amazon but it's been a ton of help for finding products to sell on Shopify. Cons Setting up coupons on JumpSend can be glitchy sometimes. There were instances I'd get a red error message when publishing coupons and I'd have to wait until the next day until it worked. My biggest issue is not being able to get anyone on the phone and having delayed responses to an issue that could possible be fixed in just a matter of moments. I have been working to get this issue fixed this whole day and the hours it took for someone to respond with assistance. The steps that were provided to me still did not fix the issue. I responded back with information and screen shots and still have yet to get another response. So, I feel that this product could be great but their tech support and response times to your issue could definitely use a lot of work. Pros I feel that is you are able to utilize this service, it can be a very beneficial product Cons The support team can definitely use some improvement. I have had some great product ideas and even blog post ideas using Jungle Scout. Cons Sometimes there were a few glitches but from my experience nothing significant. Pros Jungle Scout is a great application because you can access it online and the interface is simple enough to use in comparison to needing to download a desktop application it can reduce clutter on your computer. Cons The pricing is a bit expensive and it's only increasing in price. If you look at junglescout.app you can see the pricing change over the years so it's a bit much if you're a beginner and on a budget. I am excitied to see where the developers take this program in the future Pros I am a beginner so the video tutorials are most useful to me. One feature that I recently got into is the AI support. It answers most of my questions and really helps me to find solutions to issues that stumble me. Really enjoy using the keyword scout for product listings. Cons One thing that can be a little frustrating at times is the JS tool app while on Amazon inconsistently show the data for potential products I would be interested in selling. (Not sure if it is JS issue or an Amazon issue.) But sometimes the sales and analytics show up, then sometimes nothing shows up. That would be my only gripe. I found already great products. If it wasn't that glitches or errors, call it what you want it was a perfect experience. The support is very helpful and available and is the to help you. Pros I like it is very complete. You can find trending products, you can find niches where there are opportunities to explore and then you can find and contact suppliers for the products you found and decided to invest. It's Google Chrome Extension is also a must because we can list products at any time when navigating on Amazon. Cons I must confess that sometimes I find it a little buggy, especially because I have the lower plan which only allows 3 searches per day. Sometimes I experienced some bugs in searches that did not return results by error and one search is dead already. I also experienced when sorting results, it appears that it makes another search and it counts as it is...so...one less search to do in that day...it can be some frustrating sometimes. They really make things as easy as possible to understand and they don't exaggerate any part of it. Pros The ease of use combined with the performance power of the tools they offer has made Jungle Scout an essential to my business. I have tried many of the the popular products out there with no success. With Jungle Scout the first thing I did was use the tools to improve a listing that wasn't selling and without running ads it sold great! Cons I really want to try the Freedom Builder Bootcamp but it's out of my price range. Their customer service was the worst and their videos are really long and not specific enough. I also tried Viral Launch with no success and Merchant Words.
