Opportunity finder is also useful to see what keywords Amazon customers are looking for and may not have many products available yet. Pros It is easy to use, provides valuable data about the products that are already listed in Amazon. We can also observe the competition intensity of the product listings e.g. how many other sellers, are the product listing already have high number of reviews? Cons The supplier information of other listed products need to be more accurate. Currently I don't find it useful yet, perhaps JungleScout team need to extract from multiple sources to determine the supplier of other seller products. Reason for choosing Jungle Scout Jungle Scout seems to have better customer support. The JungleScout website for educating Amazon sellers has more comprehensive information. You don't really need to pay for additional courses if you read and watch their training content from their website and YouTube channel. We segment this vast amount of data with an in-house algorithm to qualify what suppliers are reliable and accurate. We source using the same techniques as some of the most trusted industry specialists such as Panjiva, Import Genius, and Data Myne. This data is refreshed every month and dates back to 2014. Selected the 1 month option 7 day free trial and ive just been billed instantly for £289.35 with no pre warning! I've now gone overdrawn and no contact from JS!PS. you cannot even use JS without an amazon sellers account which I do not even have yet as we only set our company up yesterday! I literally hate it when companys do you over like this - its not on at all. I'll be spreading the word to NOT use jungle scout to all of my followers in future. Follow the coursework, don’t cheat yourself, and you could make some serious money. Pros I looked at multiple softwares for amazon product scouting and JS was by far the best. The free coursework shows you EXSCTLY what to do. Unfortunately this was right before the pandemic and we had to cut back on expenses due to loss of money on another business operation and our main product leads were for the restaurant industry that inevitably died, but we will definitely go back to amazon and use JS in the future. SIDE NOTE: we were literally making deals with suppliers when covid happened and go there in under 3 weeks of super part time work. Maybe 3-5 hours a week. Half of that time was learning. All other programs in my opinion are BS. The guys from Philly, all the online YouTube ones, NO ONE GOES STRAIGHT INTO BUSINESS BESIDES JS. Cons Price, I just wished it was under 50. 40 I would have loved it. Also I would have loved to had a bundle with the browser extension but that’s only 99 for lifetime access. February 24, 2021 3.0 As I said, the features of JS are awesome, but the app itself needs to be updated in order to meet the demand of those powerful features. Overall experience is regular, I decided to look at other tools because of the frequent issues (slowness and errors) of the app. Pros The set of tools is awesome to research and analyse products/niches/markets. It's very easy to use, and easy to understand for novices. Also there are tons of videos showing how to use the app. Cons Sometimes the app is very slow and even unresponsive. Pros What I like the most about Jungle Scout is that you can track products and see their performance and income without having them in your catalog, it gives a lot of information about products, niches and keywords. Cons What I like least about Jungle Scout is that there are features that only work in the US market, like category trend, another thing I don't like is that you can't type in your main category, so if does not appear from which you can choose, it is difficult to obtain information on products related to what you want. It worked fairly well for product research, but I ended up switching to Helium10 because I needed more tools that are necessary to running a business on Amazon. Pros Jungle Scout offers useful product research tools to find the right products on Amazon. It also offers a very helpful supplier database as well to find suppliers. The customer service is top notch and the software is very easy to use. The price is also quite good for what you get. Pros This has plethora of data that is easy to digest and intuitive to deploy. Definitely helped me find products to sell on Amazon. The Jungle Scout Academy series is indispensable. Cons Did not work well on Firefox despite having a plug in for it. Also, their "opportunity finder" filters never really yielded and beneficial results. Reason for choosing Jungle Scout Did not look into alternative products as I really liked Jungle Scout's overall value proposition.
