I find Orchestry to be a great product to work with; it is very intuitive. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes managing SharePoint and Teams environments a breeze. The integration with Entra ID for guest account management is seamless and addresses a common oversight among our clients. Additionally, the cost-benefit ratio is highly favorable, especially when compared to the high costs associated with Microsoft's SharePoint Premium or M365 E5 licenses. Overall, Orchestry enhances our productivity and simplifies complex tasks, making it an invaluable tool for our team and our proposition as an MSP.

Pros

I am very satisfied with the Orchestry Software for managing SharePoint and Teams environments. The management of guest accounts in Entra ID is also excellent, as this is something that is often overlooked by our clients.

Cons

There are few things about Orchestry that I don't like, mainly because Microsoft charges a lot for many features through its SharePoint Premium or M365 E5 licenses. So, even when something doesn't work perfectly in Orchestry, it still offers a positive cost-benefit ratio.

User interface is excellent. Orchestry provides our clients with a way to automate the lifecycle of M365 workspaces and guests. Clients often don't have the knowledge internally to manage these functions.

Pros

Automation of site and Teams creation and expiry Able to set default settings for new sites and Teams Automated guest management helps security. Cannot do this with OOTB M365.

Cons

Some of the terminology used in the menu is not intuitve. E.g. Insights, Dashboard

Overall Orchestry is a product which is value adding to any business and it is a much more affordable product than others on the market. It is easy to demo, explain and deploy. Overall I love keeping up with the development enhancements and believe the roadmap for the product is exciting.

Pros

Not only does it provide the information businesses are looking for, but it provides the information in a way that can be consumed easily and have actionable recommendations.

Cons

I can’t think of anything specifically. I think for me it was just the initial understanding of what Orchestry was but once I started using it, I was happy.

Fantastic we use it everyday as part of our business processes and we help our business improve there businesses and how they work with it too.

Pros

How we can supercharge our Microsoft 365 Collaboration making it easy for customers to drive more value from Teams and SharePoint with automated site templates Protecting our customers with lifecycle management for guests and helping tidy up their workspaces.

Cons

The webparts which come with Orchestry are pretty nice though there are some rough parts and I would like more configuration.

Pros

I have a hard time trying to come up with something negative about Orchestry currently.

Pros

I love the features and functionality this product offers as well as the ease of installation and setup. This is a great toolset to integrate into the Microsoft 365 stack to help manage content and stay organized.

Cons

If there was a downside to the product it might be costs, but depending on the customer profile it tends to make sense financially in many different scenarios so this was pretty easy to digest and overcome as a business expense

I like the health checks because they provide a very clear and automated way to assess the governance, security, and overall health of your Microsoft 365 environment, particularly with tools like Teams, SharePoint, and the Power Platform.

Cons

It may introduce challenges for smaller organizations or teams with limited technical expertise. Also, for environments with smaller governance needs it might be overly complex.

I really enjoy working with the Orchestry solution and the excellent support crew. We continue to gain value from the Orchestry solution as it's allowing us to keep on top of the never ending creation of new M365 workspaces which without Orchestry, would be left hanging around the tenant occupying space and increasing costs

Pros

The ease in which it is deployed and configured. Once configured it makes it really easy to create relevant templates and policies to manage M365 workspaces.

Cons

It was a little difficult to support our specific archival process which utilises AWS but we worked with the Orchestry team and a succesful solution was deployed.

We have used Orchestry for many years and have installed it at multiple organizations. The software itself is well designed, easy to install and configure. It is fully featured, allowing us to execute on M365 governance and lifecycle management best practices. The Orchestry team is very knowledgeable and provides excellent support.

Pros

There are a lot of features we use often, for both our M365 environment and customer environments. The lifecycle management and governance features are most useful, as they provide simple workflows to keep our environment organized, clean, and secure. This allows us to enforce Microsoft best practices, leading to a much better admin and end user experience. The templating and guest management features are also critical for keeping our M365 environment standardized and secure. The built-in features allow us to save money on Microsoft licensing.

Cons

We have no issues with Orchestry. It is easy to install, configure, and use.

Reason for choosing Orchestry Software

Orchestry had the most features and the best interface, for both administrators and end users.

Phenomenal in all respects!

Pros

Orchestry is an all-around great company. Not only do they have a phenomenal application that fills so many voids in governance and adoption of MS Teams and SharePoint, they are wonderful to work with. They listen to the user, they are extremely responsive, transparent, innovative, and they have the best people working with them.

Cons

I'd like to be able to receive API responses from the Orchestry API calls, allowing us to use Power Automate to do even more with the provisioned workspace after Orchestry has completed its work.

It's been great. There are still a ton of features that we hope to implement, but even with just the base installation and a few simple customizations, it has been a big help.

Pros

It's extremely easy to setup and get going. There also a ton of features that you can gradually roll out as you get used to the tool and want to make your environment more robust. For example, there are webhooks you can setup so that as you generate new teams, you can build off that event and add more custom automation. Also, the feature where you put ownership of external users in the hands of the team's owners is great.

Cons

Currently the admins get a ton of notifications. I think it would make sense to have separate fields for administration and notifications. Also, it would be nice to specify who gets notified on certain events. So maybe the admins get notified on errors, but general notifications go to a separate email.

Orchestry has more features and takes the burden of maintaining an in-house tool out of our hands.

Blocked words for Team/site name does not validate if there is a word as contains or part of the entire sentence.

The amount of features provided is just unbelievable, amazing tool to keep your Teams under control.

Cons

The discussion with clients regarding the level of Azure AD permissions required by the app. In big organisations, the approval of Azure AD application permissions is often managed by a different team other than the one using the product and sometimes it leads to long discussions until permissions are approved.

Pros

Great app to facilitate workspace creation using predefine or customisable templates. User friendly and easy to manage. The app integration and business process continuity to other 3rd party application is a major leap as it can streamline or custom fit your need.

Cons

None so far however looking forward for the app to extend on other M365 and Azure areas.
