She responds promptly and makes everything run smoothly. Pros We have been using Pledge It for many years now and it's our only fundraising method. It is so easy as \[sensitive content hidden\] sets everything up and our players follow the instructions. The ease at which the whole campaign runs is the best part. We wouldn't use any other fundraiser, and I have shared Pledge It with other organizations in and outside our school. Cons I really don't have any complaints, nor can I think of any real cons. We are so grateful we did! Pros I absolutely love the website's easy user interface and sleek look. All of our families have raved about how much easier it is to use than our last website. Cons We would love for Pledge It to have an Apple Pay option for donors and a way to connect to Facebook Fundraisers. " February 17, 2026 3.0 Customer service and function was great. Pricing is my only issue, and it’s unfortunate that the cost prices out smaller non profit organizations. It would be amazing to see different membership levels for different size organizations. My overall experience is reflected in my three star review. Pros The user engagement from a donor perspective as well as the ability for users to support in multiple ways for events. Cons The cost, $150 a month is already expensive, but to also charge fees on top of this per donation is insane. Stripe makes the transactions seamless into deposits, but I’m paying $150 a month to pledge it, fees per donation to pledge it, and fees through stripe as well. November 4, 2024 5.0 Birdathon events have very specific requirements in a donation platform and not all peer-to-peer options allow you to do things like make a pledge per bird! Our old platform went out of business very close to our event and Pledge It helped get us up and running with a user-friendly and great looking site with less than 2 weeks notice! Pros Great customer support, easy to use, nice design/layout, and a great fit for birdathon events. Cons Supporters are not able to make a pledge per team, only to individual participants. Users frustrated by the reminder emails they received (but they also weren't following the directions and could have entered the info and stopped receiving reminders...) Alternatives considered [Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT](https://www.capterra.com/p/247647/Blackbaud-Raiser-s-Edge-NXT/) Reason for choosing Pledge It The Blackbaud option that would have integrated with out donor database was very expensive and would not have allowed us to customize for a birdathon. It would be great if we could integrate with NXT in the future to save data entry time. The website looks great, and is really easy to create. Our fundraisers had no issues creating their pages and starting their fundraising, and each campaign as been a success. Pros I love working with \[sensitive content hidden\] our Customer Success Manager. She's always available to help us use the platform so we can raise the most funds possible. She's created tutorials and videos for our fundraisers, and is responsive to feedback. She's been really hands on, and it's been so helpful to get started and learn the ropes. Cons I wish it could be more dynamic with visuals - adding photo slide shows, multiple photos of various sizes, etc. We also received feedback that our donors did not like the "tip model," and preferred covering regular platform fees. We raised more than $40,000 with no hassles and at a very low cost. Love it! I have been running peer to peer fundraisers on multiple platforms for more than 10 years - and this is simply the best I have found. I strongly recommend it to non-profits for its ease of use, reliability. and spectacular campaign and tech support. It is a great platform and a terrific team. Pros Pledge It is easy to use. Suzanne's support was very helpful in getting the event (campaign page) to look perfect. Cons The photo images (for the auction) are limited. Pros I loved how easy the platform was for setting up and allowing fundraisers to easily register and fundraise. Cons I didn't like the tipping model, I think it confused a lot of our fundraisers and it made accounting difficult for our controller. I just can't ask our donors to pay 5.9% platform/cc processing fee so it was really our only option. I understand Pledge-it needs to make it's money somehow, but I was hoping it wouldn't be so "in-your-face" while donors are trying to check out. Engagement Manager Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "PledgeIt review " July 10, 2023 5.0 The platform helps us push towards our fundraising goals for the campaign and makes it easy with the various features externally and the admin features, on top of the staff support we received from the moment we created the page all the way through the end of the campaign. It truly felt like we were receiving the best customer support and their team was proactive with a lot of upgrades and tech issues. Pros The software is very user friendly and we've seen upgrades each year that have made our experience better with each campaign cycle. This year was by far the best, between upgrades for the participant experience, and for the admins on the back end (example copy emails, customized template blocks, etc.). Having Strava integrated with the platform is also a huge win for us, something that ended up becoming a game changer to have our participants track their miles rather than manual entry (for those that use the app already). Cons We use MailChimp for our campaign to send out very specific storytelling messages about our programming, mainly because MailChimp has a lot of tools and features to do this. Unfortunately the PledgeIt messaging system doesn't have these features, but we did use the messaging feature to help us target specific audiences, like $0 fundraisers, and send them short messages to encourage them to fundraise. " May 13, 2023 5.0 As a non-professional fundraiser, I found the experience of the Customer Service Specialist to be so helpful. Our own agency website does not have 1/100th the capabilities that Pledge It offers. Overall, the experience has been excellent. Pros The functionality of this product is what impressed me the most. Overall, the user experience is excellence. The customer service is absolutely fantastic. I can't impress upon potential customers the value and of the campaign director's ability to interact directly with the creative and admin side of Pledge It. Our direct support is a woman named \[sensitive content hidden\] who has spent hours helping us and seems to know as much if not more than we know about our own fundraising. I would not hestitate to recommend this product to any NFP! I absolutely love the interface and the data exports. Super user friendly! Super supportive. 10/10! The people behind it are very responsive and seem both willing and eager to make improvements based on the experience of their users. I think its quite promising. Pros This platform was really easy to set up for our fundraiser and had all the management features that are critical for our annual P2P fundraiser. The fundraisers themselves had nothing but good things to say about it. Cons I would have liked to have more datapoints available on the dashboard. However, there would have been different ways to set up our fundraiser that would address that issue. Reason for choosing Pledge It They have a great sales team. :) Honestly, I was quite happy with the level of follow up and concern with any issues and they seem very keen on making improvements based on user recommendations. Cons The fact that one parent could not sign up both of their kids with one email account and the fact that I could not set up the entire fundraiser as the Administrator of the event. I would like to have access to add in all of the holes played on the back side of the site and set up the initial invites to all of the team captains and players on each team. Also having an awesome customer service rep that was available to me made any questions or concerns never a problem. Cons At first there wasn't a lot of flexibility on making the page formatted the way I wanted but they have improved that. Also having the ability to post videos right on the page would be an excellent improvement.
