As the product is mature, it is reliable and I consider it an essential for my writing role. It is a pleasure to use, for the most part and represents good value. Cons Latest changes have moved to a subscription model and the UI changed to favor Adobe's own marketing content. Cons The cost of the product is very high. It costs as much as a Microsoft Office license which comes with way more programs. There are also other pdf products like foxit that have similar features with way less cost. Seamlessly going from different types of documents I am able to ascertain all the data I need through one software program Pros I work with pdf invoices all day, and the customization options from Adobe make for great project and task management. The ease of use becomes apparent as I am going through files and really earning back that value for money. Rarely do I come across any bugs and issues, especially when used for file conversion. Cons One of the few things I see out of Adobe is a lack of a help line for Customer Support, which would help with any rare issues that come up using the software. But the initial and overall cost of licensing and renewals is not sustainable for a small growing firm with a limited budget. Pros Adobe Acrobat is a huge tool. I've been using it for a while in different jobs and industries, and I generally think it is one of the top 10 tools of it's kind. Cons Adobe Acrobat has many other modules that can be incorporated or integrated with only Acrobat. This strategy allows Adobe to cost terribly expensive to obtain licensing.
