### "Simple, intuitive, and perfect for document management"

July 24, 2026

5.0

It's the main tool I use for managing PDFs, mostly for filling out form-type documents, and I also use both the electronic signature and my real signature.

Pros

It allows you to modify text and images, and fill out forms, for example, in a neat and organized way. You can also add one or more signatures that you create as if handwritten, recreating your physical signature, this is extremely useful for avoiding the need to print files, sign them, and then scan them again, which saves a lot of time and is one of its biggest advantages. It also offers electronic signatures certified by the program, complete with date and time stamps. It converts scanned documents into files that can be read and searched (OCR). It's super easy to use, every tool is easy to find, and its function is easy to understand, with icons that instantly communicate what they do. The interface is friendly and intuitive. It's useful for projects, allowing you to see who has signed and who still needs to sign a document. You can also add edits with the users you share it with, along with due dates and comments.

Cons

Its paid plans are quite expensive compared to similar programs. It can run slowly, taking a considerable amount of time to open files on certain devices, especially those with lower RAM, which can make the program's response noticeably slower.

### "My experience with Adobe acrobat"

July 22, 2026

4.0

The software has allowed me to gain a positive experience in terms of professional and productivity-related applications of Adobe Acrobat. It is a highly efficient tool for my day-to-day operations due to its high accuracy in file conversion and management and its ability to perform document formatting with ease. In addition, the application is very convenient for performing a variety of common tasks including merging files, annotating, filling out forms, and signing documents digitally.

Pros

I like how it doesnot involve much if manual work, user friendly , scans all the document in seconds

Cons

One of the things I dislike most about Adobe Acrobat is that it often consumes plenty of RAM and is generally slow, especially on low-end PCs. It takes too long to open large PDF files, edit something, and convert documents to other formats. Another problem is that to get access to most of Adobe Acrobat’s features, one has to pay for the software. The free version only allows to fulfill basic needs and even then, the program can be quite confusing and not intuitive enough.

Switched from

[Foxit PDF Reader](https://www.capterra.com/p/175376/Foxit-PDF-Reader/)

I chose Adobe Acrobat as my preferred PDF software due to its reliability and sophisticated set of features, which more entry-level programs are unable to provide consistently. Though Foxit PDF Reader and PDF-XChange Editor may have been quicker to open or easier to use in some cases, they provided fewer editing and converting options and were overall less dependable.

### "Good product for the price. Easy to convert documents into PDF's."

November 20, 2025

3.0

Overall, it is good. We rely heavily on Adobe Acrobat. All our change orders, purchase orders and contracts are all sent out using Adobe Acrobat.

Pros

The ability to edit files, sign documents and highlight important items on a document. Also, the ability to easily create PDF's from a word or excel document.

Cons

It sometimes crashes. I get errors that too many people are using it when I am the only one using the software at the time. I am usually able to get back right into the document. I will work with support next time this happens. Probably is an easy fix. It does not stop me from working it's just a little annoying having to reopen a document.

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

### "Adobe Acrobat > Microsoft Word"

April 9, 2026

5.0

In my experience, most people use Adobe Acrobat simply to view PDF documents. But you can actually do SO much more on it! My clients and I use it daily for sending and receiving feedback, particularly utilizing the 'Comments' feature where we can @mention each other. Acrobat also provides several text editing features, including changing fonts, text color, kerning, adding bullet points and more.

Pros

I use it to sign digital documents, and to request e-signatures. Before using Acrobat, I would print out a document, sign it by hand, scan it, and then email it off.

Cons

I've encountered some performance issues, such as difficulty loading large files (particularly files with lots of images).

Switched from

[Microsoft Word](https://www.capterra.com/p/227146/Microsoft-Word/)

I have always requested e-signatures from my clients and I always had to send notifications through Gmail manually to the person who had not provided it within a few days. But Adobe automatically send them a reminder.

### "The Industry Standard for PDF Management"

August 3, 2026

5.0

Our overall experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. It has become an essential tool for creating, editing, converting, and managing PDF documents in our day-to-day work. The software is reliable, feature-rich, and handles document formatting and file conversion with a high level of accuracy. We also value its collaboration features, such as commenting, document reviews, and secure sharing, which make it easier for teams to work together efficiently. While the subscription cost is higher than some alternatives and certain advanced features have a learning curve, the functionality and reliability justify the investment. Overall, Adobe Acrobat has consistently met our business needs and remains one of the best solutions available for professional PDF management.

Pros

What we liked most about Adobe Acrobat was its reliability and comprehensive PDF management capabilities. It makes it easy to create, edit, convert, organize, and securely share PDF documents, all within a single application. The file conversion tools are accurate, and the editing features help reduce the need for additional software. The interface is intuitive for everyday tasks, and the wide range of customization options allows us to tailor documents to different business needs. We also appreciate the collaboration features, such as commenting and document review, which simplify teamwork. Overall, Adobe Acrobat is a dependable, feature-rich solution that offers good value for organizations that work extensively with PDF documents.

Cons

The main drawback of Adobe Acrobat is its pricing, which can be relatively high compared to other PDF solutions, especially for smaller teams. We also found that some advanced features take time to learn, and the application can occasionally feel resource-intensive when working with large or complex files. While these issues did not significantly affect our day-to-day use, a more streamlined interface and more competitive pricing would improve the overall experience.

### "Multi-functional business tool for professionals "

July 22, 2026

5.0

I use Adobe Acrobat nearly every day and overall it has been essential to my job. I seem to have issues with Acrobat less than with other programs I use.

Pros

My company uses Adobe Acrobat daily. It allows us to easily store final versions of documents, forms, and policies as professional looking PDFs. It is easy to convert other types of files to PDFs - Word, Excel, etc., and even things like JPGs and Outlook emails. There is also a feature for digitally signing PDFs, which allows for paperless processes and record storage. I also appreciate the ability to combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF.

Cons

I don’t like how some of the menus use icons rather than the names of the menus. To me, some of these icons don’t accurately represent the purpose of the menus.

### "Supporting Efficiency Through Adobe Acrobat"

August 5, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. A large part of my role involves project and task management, so having a reliable system that allows me to create, organise, review and share documents efficiently is invaluable. The range of customisation options means I can tailor the software to suit the specific requirements of my role, helping to save time and improve efficiency. Features such as file conversion, document editing, commenting and collaboration also make it easier to manage information, track changes and work with colleagues. Adobe Acrobat remains an important tool that supports the day-to-day delivery of my work and helps me manage tasks and projects more effectively.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is easy to use and offers good value for money, especially as it brings together a range of useful document tools in one place. The file conversion feature is particularly helpful, making it quick and straightforward to convert documents to and from PDF without affecting the formatting. It is reliable, simple to navigate and makes everyday document tasks much easier.

Cons

One area that could be improved is customer support, as it can sometimes take a while to contact the support team and have technical issues resolved. Although Adobe Acrobat is generally reliable, occasional bugs or system issues can disrupt work, and resolving these can be time-consuming when support is not immediately available. However, the occurrence of system issues and bugs is very rare, so this is not a defining problem.

### "The only PDF reader/editor you should be using"

February 6, 2026

5.0

We process a lot of PDFs daily - whether out of country customers send us BOLS or customs documentation or if we need to send proof of delivery on some shipments. Acrobat allows us to load in a created PDF and add lines of text. Also - we use Acrobat when we have a file that is a number of pages and we need to add something in the middle. The organize and edit pages feature allows us to quickly add a file in and save it to the full PDF.

Pros

Allows us to read PDFs but also gives us the option to edit them. When handling order management there are a lot of customer prompted paperwork that we need to fill out /edit; Acrobat allows us full customization.

Cons

The resources it takes to run are a bit high. It does not function as quickly as I would like sometimes. However I have not found anything that works as well when it comes to editing a pdf.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

Foxit was not as robust in what we could customize. But we also chose to go with the entire creative suite for other design purposes so it was an easy decision to go with adobe.

Overall, my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. It is a reliable and feature-rich tool for working with PDFs, offering strong capabilities for editing, signing, converting, and organizing documents. The integration with cloud services and collaboration tools makes it especially useful for both personal and professional use. While the subscription cost and occasional performance demands can be drawbacks, the software’s functionality, stability, and wide range of features make it a dependable choice for managing PDF workflows.

I also appreciated the reliable conversion tools, cloud integration, and user-friendly interface, which helped simplify tasks like combining documents, adding comments, and collaborating with others.

Cons

One thing I liked least about Adobe Acrobat was the subscription pricing, which can feel expensive compared to some alternative PDF tools. The software can also use a significant amount of system resources at times, causing slower performance on older devices. Additionally, some advanced features may take time to learn, especially for users who only need basic PDF editing functions.

### "Reliable PDF tool with a few slow moments"

May 14, 2026

4.0

Overall my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very good. It’s the tool I trust when I need to edit or convert PDFs without messing up the layout. I use it for filling forms, signing documents, merging files and cleaning up scanned pages. It’s stable and does what I need, even though it can be slow at times.

Pros

how reliable it is for anything PDF‑related. I use it at work almost daily for editing forms, combining files, signing documents and converting stuff from Word or images. The conversion quality is really good, the formatting stays the same which saves me a lot of time. The interface is clean and once you know where things are, it’s quick to move around.

Cons

The main downside for me is that Acrobat can feel heavy sometimes, especially when opening big PDFs. It takes a moment to load. Some tools are hidden behind menus and I still forget where certain options are. The subscription price is a bit high if you only need basic editing

### "PDF Management"

November 13, 2025

4.0

Overall, Adobe Acrobat is reliable, powerful, and packed with features. It’s definitely worth it if you work with PDFs regularly or need professional tools for editing and sharing documents securely. For light or occasional use, though, the free options might be enough.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat is one of those tools I end up using almost every day, and for good reason. It makes handling PDFs incredibly easy. I can view, edit, sign, and share documents all in one place. The ability to convert files from Word or Excel to PDF (and back) without losing formatting saves a ton of time.

My overall experience with Adobe Acrobat has been positive in the years I have used it. I’m greatful that this program exists.

Pros

I love Adobe Acrobat’s many tools and how it integrates into my daily workflow. From file combining, file editing, and organization of pages, these tools may seem simple but they help me immensely.

Cons

While I personally find the tools simple and easy to use, it takes more learning to teach people like my mom how to use the program.

### "Useful Tool - -With Some Issues"

February 26, 2026

4.0

Adobe Acrobat is a must for us since we work so heavily with pdf plans and specifications. While it's UI is sometimes frustrating, I find it does contain everything I need for my job. I most commonly use its tools to extract pages from pdf's or combine multiple pdf's to make a singular file with multiple pages.

Pros

The ability to view, separate/extract, and share files is the "must" which makes us loyal users of this product.

Cons

There are crashing issues with what I suppose are larger files with more pdf layers, pages, etc. A close second would be complicated features which could be simplified and displayed better for ease of use.

### "The Ultimate Digital Document Powerhouse"

March 22, 2026

5.0

Absolutely let's put it all together so if I had to sum it up I'd say my whole experience with Adobe acrobat has been kind of expect on one hand you appreciate the customization options it offers for managing your projects and tasks but on the flip side there are a few hiccups sometimes the file conversion can be a bit finicky and you might run into the occasional bug overall it's a balance between having those flexible tools.

Pros

Adobe Acrobat blows me away with how intuitive it is for editing PDFs you're getting a ton of functionality without a huge learning curve in terms of value for money it's not the cheapest tool out there but you do get what you pay for in terms of reliability and advanced features and the customer support is definitely a plus.

Cons

Could be that sometimes it does feel a bit resource heavy which might slow things down on older systems and another thing is file conversion well it's usually pretty solid every now and then you might run into a hiccup or a format doesn't convert perfectly or there's a bit of a glitch it's not super common but it's something to keep in mind.

Pros

I like the ease and convenience it offers as a comprehensive and secured PDF solution. It allows editing, e-signature , password protection and customization options. Supports multiple file formats, seamless conversion to pdf's.

### "Expensive but necessary for school work."

May 25, 2026

4.0

It's almost a necessity in a school office. There are hundreds of documents that we process each day: enrollment forms, IEPs, staff contracts. Only wish Adobe had an understanding of school budgets, which are on the skin of their teeth. When they are operational, the features are fantastic.

Pros

Parent permission slips turned to fillable PDF helps save me hours per semester. Report card templates can be edited by the teacher without formatting. The comment feature enables our policy curriculum team to work remotely on policy documents together. Security of student records is maintained with password protection when sharing with district office.

Cons

We do not have a very big budget and our monthly cost is very high. Three times this year had merged transcripts which corrupted. It is taking an eternity for Tech Support to respond to Education accounts.

### "Time-Saving Tool I Can Depend On"

September 4, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. It’s reliable and makes working with PDFs so much easier. I use it often for editing, signing, and sharing documents, and I especially love the editable PDF feature, it saves me from having to completely recreate forms or paperwork. While the cost can feel a little high, the convenience and time it saves more than make up for it. Overall, it’s a tool I trust and depend on.

Pros

What I like most is how easy it makes working with PDFs. I can edit, combine, or sign documents without having to jump between different programs. The tools feel reliable and simple to use, and it really saves me time when I’m trying to get things done quickly.

Cons

The main downside for me is that it can feel a little pricey compared to other PDF tools. Some of the features also take a bit of time to get used to, especially if you don’t use them every day. Overall, it’s a great program, but I do wish it was a little more budget-friendly and streamlined.

My overall experience with Adobe Acrobat has been absolutely magnificent. I have always used Adobe Acrobat all my life and have used it during school assignments, and even University.

Acrobat has also been able help me with my Workflow Management and it being really easy to use. Also the User Interface of the Software itself has been great to work with. I believe that this is something I would spend money on. I believe it is worth it for the price.

### "I'm a PDF genius!"

September 5, 2025

5.0

Easy, intuitive, hard to mess up (which is a huge plus for the "learn by doing" person like me). I haven't even leveraged all of the features available, but it's a must-have tool for my team and me.

Pros

This is not the Adobe of 20 years ago. It is so easy to use, and the tools available at its very affordable price make me feel like an editing and form-creating genius. We have realized the greatest value through its impact on our onboarding process with new hires. We've created a fillable job description template, our offer letters are sent through Adobe Sign. The document sign feature is massively easy, and the email thread it generates helps my team and me keep track of document status.

Cons

I haven't really found anything I have wanted Adobe's help with that I couldn't do. I haven't explored other tools that do similar things, but Adobe hasn't given me any reason to look elsewhere...
