It's excellent for building forms or reviewing PDFs in general. They can improve the signature security better but I am sure they are already working on it. Pros Easy to use, especially when filling out forms for documentation/compatibility. Excellent compatibility with most accounting software and never really have issue with it. Cons Format issue when reading a PDF issued by Blubeam software. Sometimes the signature will be missing, or the formatting will just look weird due to font issues. Review Source JP Jessica P. I've watched it adapt to the on going technology advancements and its created an easy user environment. Pros I think this program is overall, user friendly and the best program for accessing PDF documents. I have grown very familiar with its navigation over the years and its functionality performs in the way that is needed. Cons I least liked that you arent even able to use basic functionality without signing in and youre constantly reminded to with prompts. The prompts are a bit excessive. Pros What I like the most is the ease of use and the ability of the workflow management when I am swamped and can get these documents out. Cons What I like least has to be the edit functions, I feel like there can be more functions to help with long contract document signing or editing that is required for us to do. Hopefully one day it will receive a revolutionary refresh which makes it feel light like a viewer should, empowered by AI and levelled up Pros is the default PDF viewer across most Windows machines. I believe this is its greatest strength but also a weakness. It feels sometimes like a product which has continuously evolved and evolved, but that it carries with it a range of sometimes clunky and unreliable baggage. It sometimes feels like it needs to be started again from scratch, and deep-cleaning to make it lighter. Otherwise it is a great tool, with some useful add-ons for viewing and even editing PDFs. Cons As above, there are a few things which are not as useful about Acrobat, it can sometimes freeze or feel as if it is preventing you from completing a simple task. Additionally, the experience is occasionally unreliable and the UI is changing or not very intuitive. It also lacks some inbuilt easy AI functionality. Review Source CS Cassidy S. I have been using Adobe for longer than I can remember, there is no other substitutions that come close in quality or ease of use. Pros Very easy to use when editing PDFs or sending onboarding documents to new hires to sign! It has a great trial period and then cheap subscription that lets you do anything your heart desires when it comes to documentation/editing. It is a great workflow management tool for HR. Cons Customer support is great but the million automated messages about Adobe kill me. I wish more of the user interface was available without a subscription or that you could pay per document you send someone in case you only need to send documents for signature once or twice a year like myself and didn't want to pay for a subscription each time. October 16, 2025 3.0 We use it because its the highest security for the price and we needed unlimited use public webforms, but the second our management software matches this ability, we'll be cancelling adobe. Pros the level of security for the signatures collected and the ability to have a webform link for unlimited clients to access and sign at any time, all under a flat rate fee. Cons it's not been very easy to use for us or for clients. It feels very clunky and outdated. The customer service is awful. I've literally had one of their managers yell at me. When there was an issue with our account, they duplicated our account and charged for both for several months. When trying to address that and get a refund, their answer was to shut down the account that had ALL of our signed forms in it then refuse to refund anything more than giving the next 3 months at no charge AND we had to set up an entirely new account after being yelled at. Pros The edit function for the documents and the ability to compare documents. It is really easy to learn too if you are not familiar with it. Cons The reader is tricky; it is difficult to input and align the date to an already existing document. Pros It is the best for PDF opening and reading, and has a great set of features that can be easily used for a very affordable price. and it does not have bugs or crashes at all when opened, while supporting a wide range of customisations. Cons Editing files is a premium feature, and it is not supported for a free user subscription. Filling a form is not the best experience in comparison to other software choices. I am thankful that Acrobat exists, as it allows me to be more efficient at my job. I appreciate the flexibility that the web version allows when I'm away from the office. It has all of the features I could ever need. Pros I absolutely love the features that gives you access to. If you need to edit a PDF, this is the software you need. I am often pulling PDF reports from other software that does not allow for the customization I need. I upload the PDF report into Adobe to reorganize the report, redact data, and remove/edit text as needed. Additionally, I use this software frequently to combine separate PDFs into one and also to split out files from a large PDF. It allows me to be efficient within our department. As an added bonus, I can access the software both on my desktop and on the web! The web access come in handy when I'm away from my desktop but still need to use the software. I can't imagine ever not using this software. Cons Because there are so many features, I think that it can sometimes be difficult to figure out exactly where and how to do the things you need to do. For example, it took me several minutes to figure out how to split out my PDF into separate files the first time I did it. That's probably more user error than anything, but it can be confusing. Being able to create a digital signature has saved me so much time from printing, writing a wet signature and scanning the document back in. Cons I am not a fan of how glitchy can be. This is important when showing brochures and information to clients that it works correctly first time making my experience super easy and convenient. Pros The versatility of the app. I like that I can use it on my desktop and phone and get the same results. Documents open correctly first time and in the right format allowing me to highlight and copy information from PDFS when other softwares wouldn't. There's a small learning curve, but once you start using it, you learn about the different options available. Pros I like Adobe because it is consistent and easy to use. I recently had a large project to do which involved collecting many signatures from various stake holders, in a certain order. Adobe made it easy to set these up and send them out. Cons Sometimes Adobe is weird with file size. I ran into issues when it was someone sending over a Jpeg and I had to convert it to a PDF, or they use a scanner app on their phone. I'd try and compress the file (because Adobe wouldn't let me do anything over a certain size) and it didn't always work. One time I just gave up and printed it and re-scanned it. I deal with a lot of contracts and it makes it so convenient. I dont have to worry about someone altering the document and I can send the PDF super easily. Pros That I can sign contracts and place the date without having to use another platform. Also that if I upgrade to pro I can edit documents without the formatting shifting too much. Cons Sometimes it's hard to click on specific text. Especially if it overlaps with other text. It's also hard to delete properly sometimes. It may "over" delete and change the format of the text. Cons Least liked: Not too many features say like Bluebeam. But Bluebeam is more professional and more costly too. Sometimes, the software crashes out of nowhere too. This has to be fixed. They even assigned us an account manager who discovered that we had multiple accounts paying from various company cards. They combined all our company users in one account and saved us a lot of money and transversely made us more productive. Pros I love the growth of the product and its several applications to address seemingly any need that I may have. Cons Thinking back on the hours I have invested in this application I can not think of a single thing I do not like about the product.
