### "Reliable PDF tool with a few slow moments"

May 14, 2026

4.0

Overall my experience with has been very good. It’s the tool I trust when I need to edit or convert PDFs without messing up the layout. I use it for filling forms, signing documents, merging files and cleaning up scanned pages. It’s stable and does what I need, even though it can be slow at times.

Pros

how reliable it is for anything PDF‑related. I use it at work almost daily for editing forms, combining files, signing documents and converting stuff from Word or images. The conversion quality is really good, the formatting stays the same which saves me a lot of time. The interface is clean and once you know where things are, it’s quick to move around.

Cons

The main downside for me is that Acrobat can feel heavy sometimes, especially when opening big PDFs. It takes a moment to load. Some tools are hidden behind menus and I still forget where certain options are. The subscription price is a bit high if you only need basic editing

### "Adobe Acrobat > Microsoft Word"

April 9, 2026

5.0

In my experience, most people use simply to view PDF documents. But you can actually do SO much more on it! My clients and I use it daily for sending and receiving feedback, particularly utilizing the 'Comments' feature where we can @mention each other. Acrobat also provides several text editing features, including changing fonts, text color, kerning, adding bullet points and more.

Pros

I use it to sign digital documents, and to request e-signatures. Before using Acrobat, I would print out a document, sign it by hand, scan it, and then email it off.

Cons

I've encountered some performance issues, such as difficulty loading large files (particularly files with lots of images).

Switched from

[Microsoft Word](https://www.capterra.com/p/227146/Microsoft-Word/)

I have always requested e-signatures from my clients and I always had to send notifications through Gmail manually to the person who had not provided it within a few days. But Adobe automatically send them a reminder.

### "Good product for the price. Easy to convert documents into PDF's."

November 20, 2025

3.0

Overall, it is good. We rely heavily on . All our change orders, purchase orders and contracts are all sent out using Adobe Acrobat.

Pros

The ability to edit files, sign documents and highlight important items on a document. Also, the ability to easily create PDF's from a word or excel document.

Cons

It sometimes crashes. I get errors that too many people are using it when I am the only one using the software at the time. I am usually able to get back right into the document. I will work with support next time this happens. Probably is an easy fix. It does not stop me from working it's just a little annoying having to reopen a document.

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

The \[sensitive content hidden\] were more familiar with and did not want to change software programs. Plus in our industry Adobe Acrobat is pretty standard.

### "The only PDF reader/editor you should be using"

February 6, 2026

5.0

We process a lot of PDFs daily - whether out of country customers send us BOLS or customs documentation or if we need to send proof of delivery on some shipments. Acrobat allows us to load in a created PDF and add lines of text. Also - we use Acrobat when we have a file that is a number of pages and we need to add something in the middle. The organize and edit pages feature allows us to quickly add a file in and save it to the full PDF.

Pros

Allows us to read PDFs but also gives us the option to edit them. When handling order management there are a lot of customer prompted paperwork that we need to fill out /edit; Acrobat allows us full customization.

Cons

The resources it takes to run are a bit high. It does not function as quickly as I would like sometimes. However I have not found anything that works as well when it comes to editing a pdf.

Alternatives considered

[Foxit PDF Reader](https://www.capterra.com/p/175376/ConnectedPDF/)

Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat

Foxit was not as robust in what we could customize. But we also chose to go with the entire creative suite for other design purposes so it was an easy decision to go with adobe.

Overall acrobat does what it needs to do. I can view and print pdfs. However sometimes it can have bugs, like opening the wrong file or freezing.

Pros

Cons

I find it slow to load and the design is a bit outdated. It can be hard to find the actions needed, like renaming a pdf or printing it.

### "Simple and reliable PDF tool for daily work"

May 21, 2026

5.0

My experience has been mostly positive. It’s a dependable tool for PDF-related work, especially for office and study use. It does what it promises without much hassle, though the pricing and occasional performance slowdown can be a drawback.

Pros

It makes handling PDFs very easy. I like how quickly I can edit, sign, and share documents without needing extra tools. The interface is clean and most features are easy to find once you get used to it. It also works well for merging and converting files, which saves a lot of time.

Cons

Some features are locked behind the paid version, which can be limiting. It can also feel a bit heavy on the system sometimes, especially on older laptops. The subscription cost is a bit high compared to similar tools.

I am overall satisfied with the features like document comparison, minimum bugs and crashes as it makes it efficient. I can access files across devices via one drive and dropbox as I mainly use it for work. customer support has been awesome as they always have a solution for my problems, if ever.

Pros

I like the ease and convenience it offers as a comprehensive and secured PDF solution. It allows editing, e-signature , password protection and customization options. Supports multiple file formats, seamless conversion to pdf's.

### "Acrobat is the best PDF viewer/editor in the game."

January 11, 2026

4.0

Pros

It is sometimes essential for viewing large PDF's, or if you need to search text within a PDF. Better than other PDF viewers for a lot of purposes.

Cons

I dislike the OCR converting functions, but those are very necessary and important to my work at times. Based on when I last used it, and after much experience with Acrobat, I came to the unfortunate conclusion that even AI OCR coverters are better than the Acrobat ones.

### "Handy and widely used PDF reader"

January 28, 2026

Pretty Good in general. In regular day-to-day use, it is pretty handy. But for specific use, for instance reviewing documents, plans- BlueBeam Revu excels.

Pros

Very easy to use, Comes in built most of the time. The start time also is pretty fast, so it is the go to PDF reader for me.

Cons

That it requires additional purchase to use many of the features. File conversion is not an option which is a con.

### "A must have for any company"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Overall I am very pleased with the software. We can easily create, share and edit documents for our company. I love the ability to sign a document electronically as well. Very user friendly and easy to use! Adobe is my favorite software for creating documents.

Pros

I love Adobe. I have been using it in business for over 5 years but used it throughout my life. It is much quicker to open and send in an email. Being able to edit it works well when we need to update our logo or make changes to our business paperwork. I use this product every day I am at work. I love that you can make changes but still keep the original document for reference. Pricing is a little high but worth it for as much as I use it. I received a charge for a trial that I had cancelled before the trial date ended but contacted support and they were quick to issue a refund.

Cons

I wish it was a little cheaper and would like to be able to add users for a smaller amount but you have to either have a business account or pay per user. I have a smaller company so the business account did not make sense financially.

### "Reliable and Professional Document Solution for Business Use"

March 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It’s a powerful tool that supports my business operations, especially when it comes to contracts, invoices, and document organization. While there are minor performance issues and the cost could be more competitive, the value it provides in efficiency and professionalism makes it worth it. It’s definitely a staple in my business toolkit.

Pros

What I like most about is its ability to streamline document workflows. Being able to edit PDFs, request signatures, convert files, and manage documents all in one place is a major advantage. The e-signature feature is especially valuable for my business, as it allows me to move deals forward quickly without delays. I also appreciate how professional and polished documents look when sent to clients. I also use it personally on a day to day basis. It also integrates with my phone and I am able to use it and have access to it at my fingertips

Cons

The biggest downside is the pricing—it can be a bit high, especially when you start adding additional features or users. There are also moments where the system can lag or feel a bit heavy, particularly when working with larger files. Some features are not as intuitive as they could be, which creates a slight learning curve.

### "The Ultimate Digital Document Powerhouse"

March 22, 2026

5.0

Absolutely let's put it all together so if I had to sum it up I'd say my whole experience with has been kind of expect on one hand you appreciate the customization options it offers for managing your projects and tasks but on the flip side there are a few hiccups sometimes the file conversion can be a bit finicky and you might run into the occasional bug overall it's a balance between having those flexible tools.

Pros

blows me away with how intuitive it is for editing PDFs you're getting a ton of functionality without a huge learning curve in terms of value for money it's not the cheapest tool out there but you do get what you pay for in terms of reliability and advanced features and the customer support is definitely a plus.

Cons

Could be that sometimes it does feel a bit resource heavy which might slow things down on older systems and another thing is file conversion well it's usually pretty solid every now and then you might run into a hiccup or a format doesn't convert perfectly or there's a bit of a glitch it's not super common but it's something to keep in mind.

### "Document Acrobatics"

November 13, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with has been absolutely magnificent. I have always used Adobe Acrobat all my life and have used it during school assignments, and even University.

Pros

What I like most about is being able to use it for Document Signing and being able to Edit PDFs. Acrobat has also been able help me with my Workflow Management and it being really easy to use. Also the User Interface of the Software itself has been great to work with. I believe that this is something I would spend money on. I believe it is worth it for the price.

Cons

I have not had any issues with and have never called customer service. Sure maybe once or twice my PDF crashed on me but never enough for me to call customer support.

### "Adobe Acrobat Functionality"

August 27, 2025

5.0

I use almost everyday within my position on my job. When I have to email forums for users to sign, this is my go to product. I love the collaboration it has with other products too where I can then convert the PDF to an excel file, word document, etc..

Pros

is very useful for multiple different purposes. One of the major inclusions on this application I find very convenient is being able to convert documents, as well as sign documents. I have created many fill-in forms on Adobe Acrobat. The tools it offers such as combining files, adding comments, and also being able to protect files if you don’t want anyone to edit but strictly for review purposes, are all very good features that are helpful in managing my day to day work.

Cons

I do not like how easy it is to click and drag the boxes without realizing it. I have noticed when building forums on the application sometimes if I click too long and move my house it can move everything within the blink of an eye. Granted I know now I have to be careful on how quickly I move my mouse, but I wish it gave a warning that you’re about to change the layout.

### "Expensive but necessary for school work."

May 25, 2026

4.0

It's almost a necessity in a school office. There are hundreds of documents that we process each day: enrollment forms, IEPs, staff contracts. Only wish Adobe had an understanding of school budgets, which are on the skin of their teeth. When they are operational, the features are fantastic.

Pros

Parent permission slips turned to fillable PDF helps save me hours per semester. Report card templates can be edited by the teacher without formatting. The comment feature enables our policy curriculum team to work remotely on policy documents together. Security of student records is maintained with password protection when sharing with district office.

Cons

We do not have a very big budget and our monthly cost is very high. Three times this year had merged transcripts which corrupted. It is taking an eternity for Tech Support to respond to Education accounts.

Pros

Easy to use for our team, easy to use to convert files and create webforms for e-signing. It's part of our workflows and projects, and is is worth the cost. I have yet to need to contact customer support.

Cons

I have been using Adobe for years. I've watched it adapt to the on going technology advancements and its created an easy user environment.

Pros

I think this program is overall, user friendly and the best program for accessing PDF documents. I have grown very familiar with its navigation over the years and its functionality performs in the way that is needed.

Cons

I least liked that you arent even able to use basic functionality without signing in and youre constantly reminded to with prompts. The prompts are a bit excessive.

I like it so much, and it is an essential part of my reading software that I use for opening and checking the documents.

Pros

It is the best for PDF opening and reading, and has a great set of features that can be easily used for a very affordable price. and it does not have bugs or crashes at all when opened, while supporting a wide range of customisations.

Cons

Editing files is a premium feature, and it is not supported for a free user subscription. Filling a form is not the best experience in comparison to other software choices.

### "Reliable and consistent"

June 16, 2025

5.0

My experience has been wonderful. I am thankful that Acrobat exists, as it allows me to be more efficient at my job. I appreciate the flexibility that the web version allows when I'm away from the office. It has all of the features I could ever need.

Pros

I absolutely love the features that gives you access to. If you need to edit a PDF, this is the software you need. I am often pulling PDF reports from other software that does not allow for the customization I need. I upload the PDF report into Adobe to reorganize the report, redact data, and remove/edit text as needed. Additionally, I use this software frequently to combine separate PDFs into one and also to split out files from a large PDF. It allows me to be efficient within our department. As an added bonus, I can access the software both on my desktop and on the web! The web access come in handy when I'm away from my desktop but still need to use the software. I can't imagine ever not using this software.

Cons

Because there are so many features, I think that it can sometimes be difficult to figure out exactly where and how to do the things you need to do. For example, it took me several minutes to figure out how to split out my PDF into separate files the first time I did it. That's probably more user error than anything, but it can be confusing.
