You can convert pdfs into a lot of different types of files without having to leave the document or enter another page. It integrates well with the rest of the Adobe Cloud Suite as well. Pros Acrobat is great for creating PDFs from scratch, or editing already-made PDF files. It's super simple to create things like printable forms, digital forms and other documents while restricting exactly where the user can edit/input information. If it's part of your plan, you can also integrate things like Adobe eSign to collect signatures on documents without the need to print, and scan. Cons If you're using it to simply view PDFs, the software is a bit bloated, and may cover too much ground for your needs. It's best used when creating and editing your own PDF files. Pros There are many pro's that come to using this software and I highly recommend to use this software for anyone that would wish to view PDF's as I consider this to be used as an industry standard across not just teaching but in any field. It allows you to; view pdf's, search for information, write comments on pdf documents and allows you to place digital signatures on the documents itself. All these amazing features you can use with any pdf and it's completely free. Cons In regards to the negatives bearing in mind this is a free software it does alot of things most people would use on a regular basis with most pdf's however, there are some things that I would wish would be included in DC. The first being the ability to edit PDF's, while i understand this is available in their paid service it is an ability that makes Acrobat DC unusable for some that want to create their own PDF's or edit pre-existing PDF's. Reason for choosing Adobe Acrobat It's a free product that allows me to read Pdf's and can be downloaded for free. Pros One of my favourite features that I found out that I was't the only one who likes this is that you can add note on top of the pdf file that can help you with your work. Furthermore you can create a signature and save it so that you can place it anywhere any time and all of this with ease. Cons For me the biggest disadvantage is that you have to spend some time learning the more advanced features if you want to be more efficient.
