Based on these reports, I take action to mitigate these issues in time before they impact the network. We have enabled device monitoring through SNMP & we also use the configuration management capabilities of the OpManager to take Configuration backups & uploading. Additionally, it has many modules which can be added like Network Configuration Manager, Netflow Analyzer, OpUtils, etc which helps network teams to get the most out of a monitoring platform. Once you're familiar with the UI (which is very short time), you begin monitoring immediately. Cons OpManager is a great tool but new features comes into the product a bit slow. Additionally, application and network monitoring concepts begin to intertwine with each other today but this is a bit slow for OpManager because I believe OpManager and Applications Manager (app monitoring tool) began this journey separately and now they're being merged in a manner of time.
