It has overall been a mixed experience as once we started using it to the full extent, we could see that many more features could be implemented in the software. We have requested for multiple features for which we await the timeline and confirmation. Pros The below feature of this software are really helpful. - Bulk Task Creation - Copying tasks/ team members from previous months or other tasks - Maintaining passwords in the client profile - Folder List Cons The main thing this software is missing at the moment the 'Notification' feature. As spoken with Jamku Team, they are currently working on this and have launched a Jamku Chat application which is still in its Beta stage so it will improve in the coming months. The compliance portal is great to keep tracks of these tasks and the daily dashboard is helpful for managers to manage work with their subordinates Cons Assigned task could be edited by subordinates, which could lead to loopholes in system. Switching from manual excel sheets to Jamku has benefitted us greatly. The bulk task creation feature is a real time saver. But the bulk email option requires more attention as there are no options to select which client mails it sends to. Updating/closing tasks also requires some effort from the users but which is not in vain. Apart from all this, if Jamku updates its colours and adds drop down menus, it would add to the appeal and aesthetic. Pros The Dashboard feature for tasks, clients, and compliances is a really helpful addition to our workflow management. Cons The UI could be more aesthetic and organized. Pros Versatility in data entry in the software. If UI/UE is not good enough an applications fails in deployment. As is users are averse to change & a change which is difficult to apprehend will lead to rejection. Cloud based means it can be accessed anywhere, anytime. Cons At places compulsory fields are not visible in the form & highlighted with asterix or colour variation. Further documentation needs to be bit more elaborate. There is glut of features & options in the software. This leads to chaotic implementation & usage. Since it is targeted primarily towards tax practitioners, certain information/settings need to be pre-populated.
