Sales manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], is amazing and loves the product with a passion but has zero support in my opinion for his vision for taking this company to today's standards for tech support. It is a two woman show and thankfully they have someone who can sell it.

Pros

Cons

The software is simple ad pretty good. HOWEVER, if your staff is not tech savvy and you need actual real time log-in-and-help-me help, THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY FOR YOU. Don't take my word for it, call anyone you know with this software. 100% of the time you will speak with someone, likely \[sensitive content hidden\], who will immediately ask your staff to take a screen shot or a photo and email your concerns. Then, whenever they have time, your question will be addressed with an email. God forbid you have another question, bc you will need to take pictures and email that also. Likely, your entire day will be shot to pieces and productivity will stall as your staff stops to take pictures and email and then wait for responses.Maybe I've just been lucky, but when I work with Patterson support, a tech remotes in and I can often leave them to it while I get on with other things. They ping me when the problem is fixed. This is my definition of support not what PBS provides.

Reasons for choosing PBS Endo Enterprise

Cost and simple and I was duped in to believing their support team (which has received numerous complaints from other endodontists) had new staff and were being trained to actually remote in and support your team.

PBS Endo Enterprise has streamlined out ability to register and confirm patient appointments, chart treatment provided, archive documents, and communicate with our referrals.

Pros

Easy implementation, reliable, versatile. This software is a key asset to office productivity.

Cons

Our experience has been to offer recommendations for changes to PBS Endo which, in many cases, have been included in future updates.

Reasons for choosing PBS Endo Enterprise

PBS Endo has proven to be a valuable and reliable software for the past 25 years. We had no reason to switch software based on our experience. Migrating from PBSEndo Essentials to Enterprise was seamless.

Very good solid software

Pros

We like the simplicity and the eveolution of the software from basic data storage to real time updates on all the computers. We want something to track scheduling to production as well as patient information and time lines. I like that the staff is not distracted with the extras in other software. For us less distractions is more productive. We like that the templates are easy to create and refine. We like using a scanner and importing radiograghs as we want. What we like the most is that it hard to make a mess or things because of the simplicity. Doing Endodontics is challenging enough with out having a sofetware that gives too many choices. Back to Basics works and the extra stuff like messages to text we use another stand alone service that does only that.

Cons

It was easy to upgrade to Enterprise. We check costs on other programs and services but the thing that made it better was their support. The others were and are not so easy to get a live person when you get an issue. That being said, we don't have any problems with PBS.

Not satisfied at all. After using it for a month, I wanted to return the product. They agreed, however, I had to manually reenter every patient that I saw into the original PBS in order to keep that information. Unacceptable that they can not transfer back the new information within their own products and I would have had to spend hours entering all that info. I had no choice but to keep it in order to keep my charts of all the patients that I saw during g that time.

Pros

I was a user of the original PBS essentials for many years. It's simple and worked well enough. If you are already a user of the original PBS essentials, do not upgrade to enterprise.

Cons

worst customer support. They make you feel that you are the problem and not their software.the list of things in daily usage that are not user-friendly is too long. Patient registry and medical Hx are not customizable.Not user-friendly for patients to register (they have to draw with a mouse the date instead of just typing it.No mobile version for the dentist or patient.posting the procedures is time-consuming.the list goes on and on.Just don't buy.
