Pros VMware cloud directory is a very stable and robust tool, in my experience using it I never experienced an outage Cons In a ocassion I had to migrate a VM from VMware cloud director to GCP, it was not possible due to compatibility issues, so I have to create a new server from scratch, and then setup everything again. I was able to set up and protect my workloads quickly and easily, and the failover and failback processes were also very straightforward. Also it is a subscription based service so it helps us to manage the cost more effectively. Cons One thing I liked least about VMware Cloud Director Availability was its storage requirements. The solution requires a lot of RAM space in order to function adequately. This can be a challenge for organizations with limited storage resources.
