This enables the user to keep track of work station hence preventing the an unauthorized devices to access and extract information. Additionally AccessPatrol has been of great importance to our business model. This has enabled the production team to release new designs without any worry of it being stolen by an unauthorized devices. Generally, it enables the user to generate report for audits on how data is stored and avoid possible security breaches. Pros This software enables our Information Technology administrators to hold into account all USB activities to ensure that when there is a problem at any given point concerning data transfer they check up on the logs. Also the IT team has used the software for further encryption of the company's USB devices which are used in remote duties and field work. Furthermore, I find it very easy to setup and the interface is well organized making it very easy to use. Thanks to all this, the instant notification through emails on files transfer and the device being used helps one take necessary actions in order to stop security risks. Cons In my interaction with the software, I discovered that it took a bit sometime when upgrading in bid to get new license keys install. Although this is a minor issue and so far so good. September 17, 2022 5.0 It has been a while since we started using access patrol. It effectively prevents unwanted USBs from accessing our information. We have configured it across our endpoints and it has worked well in terms of ensuring the safety of our data. Pros How it denies access of unwanted removable media to any of our sensitive data is just amazing. We smoothly block any devices that aren't part of the allowed list of devices. It gives us visibility into the activities of USBs and sends alerts whenever there are any violations. We are also able to stop the wireless connections that we deem harmful in easy steps. Access patrol is easy to navigate around and even easier to use. Cons Access Patrol is quite impressive. So far I haven't encountered any major issues wit it. The data and the processes very sensitive and need the utmost protection. Pros Authorizing devices and blocking those that shouldn't be allowed to access my data is very easy.
