We now have the ability to secure machines that otherwise would have been exposed to threats. Cons The software continues to evolve and was missing some features we would like. As newer versions have been released, most of the problem areas have been addressed. Also, I not a big fan of the web console in comparison to the legacy desktop application. June 25, 2022 5.0 AccessPatrol has made our remote workstations totally secure, preventing USB devices from being able to extract sensitive information irregularly or without company authorization. Pros I like it because it allows me to manage devices and create a white list of devices authorized to handle information and another black list with restricted access that become part of the incident and event reports. Pros I like it because it has at times prevented sensitive information from leaving our systems copied to a USB, detects them, blocks them, and collects information about the incident to add to audit reports. It has allowed us to detect strange devices on different workstations and block them to prevent sensitive data from leaking from our company and its customers. Pros I find it an efficient software, I like to be able to control how information is handled through our network. It allows me to log every file movement on internal devices. It helps us a lot in internal audits which are quite frequent. Cons So far we have not detected anything negative about this software. June 24, 2022 5.0 AccessPatrol is the tool we chose to secure the remote workstations that we had to adapt due to the pandemic and quarantine in full swing. Then, given the results, we decided to keep these remote workstations because the costs are lower and security can be easily guaranteed. Pros It is a very efficient software because it prevents sensitive information from leaking through unidentified storage devices on the network. It allows to create whitelists with limited access according to the worker's rank. Cons We have not detected any flaws or bugs in this software.
