Ceeview es un buen producto, pero lo que más valoramos es la calidad de servicio de la empresa. Desde la dirección hasta el guru técnico están realmente preocupados porque las cosas funcionen bien y tienen la apertura para ajustar las cosas que se requieren.

Pros

El sistema es simple e intuitivo de instalar y utilizarse. La demanda de recursos es apropiada para lo que el sistema entrega. El manejo de alarmas y reportes es dinámico y entrega información útil. Permite ajustarse a la forma particular en la que uno opera.

Cons

No puedo decir que no me guste. Sólo me costó un poco de trabajo invertir mi acostumbrada forma de ajustar alarmas. Previamente ajustábamos gatillos contra fallas, y la visión de Ceeview es inversa, ajustan gatillos contra el estado operacional del equipo monitoreado.

At Baerum kommune (municipal) we use Ceeview to manage and monitor Services and Applications for more than 11,000 employees and 130,000 residents. Ceeview is our overall monitoring and management platform. In addition to Ceeview, we use several third-party tools together with in-house developed tools which we integrate and consolidate in Ceeview. By use of Ceeview modelling, we have dependency mappings that show the status of applications and services together with the health of the underlying infrastructure. After a feasibility study, we realized that Ceeview could reduce the overhead of using Icinga/Nagios to manage our IT infrastructure by almost one man-year. The Ceeview products make my daily life easier, and the support received from Ceeview is without compare. I can recommend the products from Ceeview.

Pros

Ease of use and flexibility in providing transparent status and reports in dashboards to management as well as technical personnel. Drill-down capabilities and automation help to remedy issues before they impact response times and availability. An extensive set of APIs and easy-to-integrate third-party monitoring tools.

Cons

Still missing some core monitoring capabilities. Like monitoring of certificates. The UI for dashboards/Services still needs some fine tuning (but who doesn’t). Still some way to go on the documentation but keeps getting better as well.

Pros

The architecture of the product. e.g. The monitoring data collection using ceeview agents or integrating data from your ecosystem (cloud). The simplicity when it comes to orchestrate various data in a dashboard. The easy way to add SLA compliance parameters to your monitoring.

Cons

Would be great to have more financial data monitoring aspects included "out of the box" such as Cloud costs etc.

In addition to controlling your cloud cost, Ceeview will integrate financial data from accounting and ERP systems.
