This feature helps a lot because it helps us determine whether a technician is going over the speed limit when we receive calls about our drivers or if they get a ticket for speeding we are able to dispute if needed. Pros CalAmp, In my experience makes it easy to monitor the workforce. Their location and time at each location. Cons I have noticed that some of the speed limits in the system don't match the actual limits on the road. Exp. the system shows and speed limit of 30 MPH but the location is marked with 35 MPH sign. There is a lot of unnecessary details that repeatedly must be turned off to run the report faster and it is hard to see the names of the streets, but it does the job with some sweat involved. Pros This software was relatively simple to use without lengthy user trainings, the accuracy of tracking and report efficiency was very good compared to the previous system used. Cons I wish there was an option to see the name of the streets on the map, especially the smaller ones because our staff routinely uses neighborhood streets and alleys during their inspections. I think that there is a lot more we could be doing with it but we have not taken the time to learn it. Pros We need to be able to locate our employees quickly in the case of an emergency and this is a does the job. Cons I feel like the route history is not as intuitive as it could be. Pros The route history and complete suite of reports are critical to my work and easy to use in this application. Cons I have no complaints.
