Pros If you want to be EU compliant and still want to have a good overview of what's going on on your site, this is the way to go. Also no more cookie banners! We're very happy overall. Cons There are still some details here and there that can be improved, but in general, they do what they promise. The registration process was smooth, and thus far, the support is very responsive. We finally have a tool that helps us identify content that resonates with our audience, and we did it without the need to deploy a cookie consent banner. Pros Wide Angle Analytics is a privacy-friendly solution that allows us to assure compliance with GDPR, this is particularly important for our business that operates in legal industry. Also, we enjoy that we were able to implement and can use the tool without much technical knowledge or an IT team. Cons We missed a live demo before making a purchase decision. The account comes with a free trial, but having a demo account populated with data would be helpful. Reason for choosing Wide Angle Analytics Google Analytics raised severe legal concerns, and its legality in terms of GDPR is currently disputed. While simpler than Google Analytics (GA), the metrics WWA collects are value-adding for our business and exactly what we need.
